My ideal role is a position where I can serve the majority of my responsibilities from a home base with only occasional travel for field testing, commissioning, conferences, etc. I am prepared to relocate. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Oil & Gas Experience – I currently work as an Operations Engineer for Pruitt RCD/Optimal Pressure Control. Previously worked in MPD Operations for @Balance and as an RCD Design Engineer with Weatherford. I am a contributing member of the IADC’s MPD & RCD Committees, and I am WellCAP certified. Served as a Field/Project Engineer aboard a Dive Support Vessel and S-type Pipe Lay Vessel. Technical Writing for both Government & Private Sector – I authored an article published in Oilfield Technology Magazine May 2014. I also composed Pruitt’s Sales Brochures and Field Operators Manuals, as well as an updated rebuild manual for the HOLD 2500 RCD. Experienced writing documents directed at various audiences including API, DNV, AFMC, etc. Design Experience - Proficient with Drafting & Modeling Programs, Stress Analysis, and Finite Element Analysis. Adept with failure analysis and reporting, API & DNV Certification requirements. Reverse engineered numerous aircrafts components. Designed and implemented numerous R&D tests. Programs: Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD, Inventor, Mechanica FEA, ATOS III Optical Scanning System, MathCAD.
