FEED THE NEEDY & FOOD PANTRY UPDATE The Holy Trinity Food Pantry will no longer be affiliated
with St. Vincent de Paul Society as of November; however,
the food pantry will continue to operate as the Holy Trinity
Food Pantry and will continue to help those in need.
Additionally, the monthly Feed the Needy donation
weekends will continue as we will need to stock and
continue to help current and future clients. We would like to
thank all our parishioners for their donations, support, and
caring over the past years and we hope to be able to help
those who are in need for years to come.

NEW DRIVEWAY w/ ACCESS TO HANDICAP PARKING You may have noticed a new driveway near the fire pit on the left side of the Ministry Center or seen the parking area at the back of the building from Beaver Grade Rd. It was created to give our parishioners with disabilities access to the meeting rooms and activity room on the second floor. It is for handicapped parking ONLY! If you must use it to drop something off or pick something up on the upper floors of the building, please make your delivery/pick-up and then park down below. Thank you for your considerate use of the handicapped access. (And please do not block the entrance to the driveway or allow kids to play in this area)

WINTER COAT & CLOTHING DRIVE FOR APPALACHIA
Holy Trinity parish community is conduct-ing our 20th annual winter coat and cloth-ing drive for the needy families of the Appa-
lachian Region of WV beginning October 1st through Oc-tober 31st. Please leave any winter coats, clothing, hats, gloves, blankets and toys in front of the right door of the 3-car garages located at the Parish Ministry Center. Your donated items will be delivered and distributed di-rectly to our Appalachian neighbors who struggle to meet the basic needs of daily life. BIBLE STUDY Join us for a study of St. Paul's 2nd Letter to the Corinthians. Sessions will take place at JoJo's Restaurant, 7194 Steubenville Pike, Oakdale, PA. GLOBAL DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET Tune in to Eternal Word Television Network (“EWTN”) Global Network on Tuesday, October 16 at 4:00 PM (ET) for the airing of The Global Divine Mercy Chaplet (“GDMC”) program. The program is sponsored by the Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy in collaboration with Holy Trinity Catholic School and Parish in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. The Holy Trinity Cross Country teams competed in the Section Cham-pionship/South Hills Invitational at Youthtowne on September 28 with 12 other teams from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. The JV Girls team placed 2nd overall and the JV Boys finished 3rd! Individual medals were given to those who placed in the top 20. HTS medalists included James Baker, Luke Baker, Mia Crofford, Elise Hornyak, Joelle Ludwick, Owen Minzer, Sophia Saginaw, and Christian Williams. Pictured are

Cross Country
The 8th grade team members of the Cross Country team were honored during a recognition cer-emony at the last home meet of the season. Holy Trinity hosted Our Lady of Fatima, St. Bernard, St. Margaret, St. Patrick, Sts. Pe-ter and Paul, and St. Philip. De-spite the rain and muddy running conditions, the teams competed well with the JV girls, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys placing 1st and the JV boys placing 2nd. 8th grade members of the team include (L-R) Karolina Lucas, Kate Mickle, Corinne Ludwick, Chris Ireland, Collin Cimino, Alan Betten, Evie Minzer and Natalie Krulac.

2018 RED MASS AND DINNER
All are invited to attend the 2018 Red Mass, offered annual-ly to invoke God’s blessing upon all judges, lawyers, legisla-tors and government officials. The Mass will commence at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Du-quesne University Chapel. Dinner will follow immediately at the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom. Bishop David A. Zubik will serve as the principal celebrant and homilist. The 2018 St. Thomas More Award will be present-ed to John W. Giltinan, Esq.
