Hangin’ out with Greg It was a week ago on Wednesday, January 20th
that Greg Gianforte announced his candidacy for
the Republican Party’s nomination for Governor
of Montana in 2016. It was November 23rd, 2015
that he was in Glasgow, exploring the possibility of
running for Governor. After a stop at the Loaded Toad
for coffees, they popped into BS Buzz headquarters
and hung out for awhile before attending a meeting
at Farm Equipment Sales. Pictured above are Aaron
Flint (Greg Gianforte’s campaign spokesman)
Glasgow’s own Stan Sonsteng, Greg Gianforte and
his wife of 27 years, Susan Gianforte.

Late Nite LaffsWe got over 2 feet of snow
here in New York City, andmore than 11,000 fights
were canceled because ofthe blizzard. In fact, there’sso many people waiting
around at the airport, theyhad to open a Chili’s Three.
The blizzard also caused
power outages all over theplace. In fact, they hadblackouts in New Jersey,North Carolina, and the
Oscars. ~ Jimmy Fallon

Tuesday Night Men’s League at El Cor Del lastnight had not one, but two high 700 series... on thesame lanes! Red Sillerud, bowling for Valley Seed, and DustyShipp of Team Durum, were in a showdown. In thefirst game, Red rolled a 256, Dusty a 279. Game 2had Red with a 276, Dusty a 255. And game 3, it was
Red with a 244 (he left a 10 pin in the final frame, theonly open he had the entire night) and Dusty bowleda measly 224. Red’s series: 256 - 276 - 244 — 776 Dusty’s series: 279 - 255 - 224 — 758
“It was fun,” said Red. Too bad for Dusty’s big gun, Valley Seed endedup with the four-game sweep.
Looking into the very near future, Zac Garsjo(a.k.a. DK according to Andy Newton) is hoping
Red cools off as Tihista Construction goes head-to-head with Hi-Line Ford at Vick’s Lanes tonight. It’sa position round and all the Tihista Constructionboys have to do is take one game from Hi-Line Fordanchored by Big Red himself who, incidentally, wasgetting a haircut this morning for this truly specialoccasion.

( Note from the Buzz: the following isa letter off of Facebook written by aconcerned woman from Bigfork.)
Hello, Flathead Valley and goodday to you. Let me ask you a question:
When you look at the beautifulstate of Montana, which is only one oftwo states in the union left that doesnot have refugees from the MiddleEast, particularly Syria, in it, wouldyou like to see a refugee resettlementarea in Missoula That is just what is being proposed.Soft Landing, a local Missoulagroup that was formed recently, isworking to bring the International
Rescue Committee, a United Nationsorganization, to Missoula, with theidea of bringing in up to 100 refugeesa year. This may sound like a kindand progressive thing — to help poorrefugees — but in reality, we end upwith refugees that are full of hate forAmerica and the American way of life, and there will be some who what to killus. Look at Europe. In Cologne,Germany, and elsewhere, over 500women were subjected to harassmentand rape on New Year’s Eve during publiccelebrations. Europe is in real trouble, the governments are weak and have noleaders and no plan to deal with it. The refugees come to Germany andget free housing, food, health care, haveno jobs and spend their days terrorizingthe German citizens. Radical Islam
is real and the jihadis want us dead. With virtually minimal backgroundchecks hundreds of thousands ofSyrian refugees are finding their way toAmerica, with the help of the Obama
administration. Yep, the International RescueCommittee and Soft Landing want tobring 100 refugees a year to settle inMissoula. The problem is, once thisprogram gets set up, and the flow ofrefugees starts to come in, the UN willdictate who and how many will be sentto Missoula and the local governmentwill have no control over it. Once theflow starts, it’s virtually impossible to
shut the flow off. So, if you have a problem with thisas I do, come to a rally in Missoula onMonday, February 1st at 10 a.m. at theMissoula County Courthouse so thatwe can tell our government leaders thatwe DO NOT want refugees in Montana! This is going to be difficult to stop, and we MUST turn out in numbers toshow that we are paying attention anddo not want refugees in Montana. Therally is being promoted by the MontanaConservative Values Facebook page. February 1st is also the Iowa caucusday, so bring your signs and your “JustSay NO to Refugees in Montana” signsand join me and others who care deeplyabout the safety of Montanans! Take astand and let your voice be heard. Ifyou don’t do it, no one will. It’s up tous. —Susan Taylor, Bigfork

Larry Mires (left) and Ben Boreson (center) spoke with Greg Gianforte at Farm Equipment Sales on November 23rd. I
was a good crowd in attendance as Greg explored the possibility of running for Montana Governor. Greg has spent his
whole career growing businesses and creating jobs. His plan for Montana is to bring actual business experience to the
Governor’s position to create opportunities for high wage jobs, cut government regulations to help small businesses
succeed, ensure our kids learn the skills for today’s economy, and make state government work better for us.
