WELCOME To All New Masters Swimming in their First Masters Meet! LUAU HOSPITALITY ROOM Please stop by our luau hospitality room. Drinks and snakes are free for everyone to enjoy. WARM-UPS 7:45-8:35. No equipment use allowed. During warm-ups, remember to enter the pool feet first in a cautious

and controlled manner! You can be disqualified from the meet for not following this safety rule. • Lanes 2 & 7 will be reserved 8:20-8:35 to practice starts/sprints and will be one-way • The pool will be open for warm-ups during the 10 minute break between events 9 and 10

200 and 800 YD RELAYS

• Pick up & turn in relay entry forms at the officials table. Submit entries by the end of Event 1 (500 Freestyle).

• Relays can be put together as male, female and mixed. If swimming in a male/female relay, you cannot swim in the mixed relay of that same event.

• Relay seeding and lane assignments will be posted at the starting end of the pool. COCONUT RELAY

• The unofficial 150-yard Coconut Relay will be the last event, after Event 19 (800-yd Free Relay). • Sign up at the officials table by the end of Event 11 (400 IM). If you do not have a team put together,

sign up at the table and we will assign you to one. • Relays consist of 3 people, and can include any swimmers in the meet-any club, male or female. • Swimmer 1 starts from the blocks, swims 25 yds, picks up 1 coconut, swims back with it, and hands off

to swimmer 2-waiting in the water. • Swimmer 2 starts in the water, swims 25 yds with 1 coconut, picks up a second, swims back with both,

and hands off to swimmer 3-waiting in the water. • Swimmer 3 starts in the water, swims 25 yds with 2 coconuts, picks up a third, and swims back with 3

coconuts to finish the race. • Any method of carrying the coconuts without equipment is allowed, throwing them is NOT allowed.

RESULTS & AWARDS • Event results will be posted in the Luau Hospitality Room. Pick up ribbons in the Hospitality Room, too.

Individual events - ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rdplaces; Relays - ribbons for 1st and 2nd places. • Tropical awards will be given to the winner of each heat of the Coconut Relay. • Final meet results will be available within a week at our web site: www.AlexandriaMasters.com
