Born in Gujarat, Shri Rakeshbhai Shah has been spreading teachings of lord Mahavir under guidance of Acharya Shri Hemratnasuriji M.S. and has conducted Paryushan Mahaparva Aaradhana at many centers in India and abroad since 1999. He has been conducted Satsang, been a Guest Speaker in Youth Events and conducted Paryushan Mahaparva Aaradhana. Recently in 2016 he conducted Paryushan Mahaparva Aaradhana at Cleveland. He is

• Sir Sanchalak of Jain Alert Group (A group associated with Acharya Shri Ratnasundarsuri M.S.)

• Jain Ambassador, Master Trainer, Mentor, Creative Communicator, Navkar Pracharak and above all a Spiritual Shravak

Shri Avin Shah, is a Vidhikar from Mumbai, India. He is a Profession by profession but has lead many Paryushan PArva Aaradhanas in India and abroad since 2004. He is well travelled and recently lead Paryushan Aaradhana at Charlotte, NC in 2018. He is a Committee Member of Shree Shwetambar Jain Murtipujak Sangh in Sion Mumbai, member of Jain Alert Group, Convenor of Jain Gyan Bhandar at Sion Mumbai, Core Committee Member of Ratnatrayam besides being associated with many other Jain Organizations. We are fortunate to have him for the first time in our Sangh.

Shri Aashishbhai Mehta is no stranger to our Sangh. He has the gifted spirited voice in which the devotee dissolve themselves through the medium of music. He has many captivating, toe-tapping tracks that are sure to elevate one and all. His rendition of Manglik has been played many times at Jain Sanghs across the world including our own. Besides having trained in classical music he also has deep knowledge on Jainism and has taken us through many Vandanavali journeys in the past. We are thrilled to have him during the Paryushan Mahaparva.

spiritual energy. The recitation, reading and chanting of these Stotras is a way to shed the bad karmas and is

To learn about Jain religion and thereby to shed Jnänävaraniya Karma a quiz has been organized based on various topics like Shravak’s 5

essential activities, 11 annual essential activities, Mahävir-swämi’s 27 lives etc. Shree Avinbhai will conduct the quiz rounds including simple

question & answers, case study and situational based questions, audio and visual round and rapid fire round. 5 teams will be formed with 4

members in each team. Please register to be part of this exciting educational event. Topics for the Quiz will be shared once the registration

Contributing to build a Jinālay is one of the elegant ways to acquire punyānubandhi punya. In our lifetime, we

may not have the opportunity to build a new derāsar, but even partially contributing to the cause is a significant

Bhamti Pratimaji 18 Abhishek and Pratishtha August 23, Friday to August 25, Sunday

Due to wear and tear of the Gadi Marble there were some damage in Bhamti Bhagwan Gadi. With blessings and recommendation from renown scholars and dignitaries from India, committee decided to order new Makrana Marble Gadi from India. New Gadi have been arrived. We had to do Bhamti Pratimaji Utthapan Vidhi on July 13th. Utthapan Vidhi was conducted by Shri Hiteshbhai Shah (Vidhikar). We also invited Sompura from India to work on Bhamti Pratimaji and certain Ghabhara and Rangmandap Pratimaji for beautification and Shuddhikaran. New Gadi has been installed by Sompura. Gadi Bharavvani Vidhi will be conducted prior to the Pratishtha. We are happy to announce Pratistha of Bhamti Pratimaji on newly installed Gaadi on August 24 and 25. Since we have to do Pratistha of Pratimaji's again the event has the same significance as a regular Pratistha. Pratistha of Pratimaji will be done by the original donors however everyone else can join the ceremony by participating in one of the following auspicious ceremonies.
