It is the ultimate moment toenjoy the fruits of our hard labor during the year with enthusiasm andsmile on our faces!

This year for the first time after many efforts, Burgozone is harvestingits two autochthonous varieties: Tamyanka and Gamza. Expect manysurprises with the new vintage!

Burgozone participated at the internationalwine exhibition ProWein in Dusseldorf, whereover 60’000 visitors from 64 countriesattended. The Burgozone team met businesspartners and made contacts in new markets.Burgozone presented its new vintage and onceagain proved itself as a quality producer.

♦ Successfully completed EUPresidency in Bulgaria

This year, Bulgaria was proud to host thepresidency of the European Union. Burgozonesupported our Embassy in Belgium during theworking lunch, attended by all EU MemberStates Ambassadors in Brussels and the PrimeMinister of the Walloon-Brussels FederationRudi Demotte, which took place on June 18th.At the business lunch, all the internationalguests enjoyed the high-quality wines ofBurgozone.

The Bulgarian exhibition of winemakersVinaria took place in Plovdiv and gatheredwine lovers, professionals and sommeliers. Itwas a great opportunity for Burgozone toexchange experience with colleagues and winelovers. We delighted our fans with our newwhite wines and succeeded in consolidating theaudience's recognition.

♦ Participation of Burgozone at aninternational exhibition in Montenegro

Burgozone participates in one of the biggestwine events in the Balkan region - "Monte Vino2018 Wine Salon". We are proud that we werethe only representative from Bulgaria amongthe rich selection of local producers. The eventwas held under the auspices of the NationalAssociation of Sommeliers and Wine ofMontenegro. Our special guest was theAmbassador of Bulgaria to Montenegro, whohighly appreciated our excellent wines.

♦ Black Sea winemaking Forum 2018

For the second consecutive year, Burgozoneparticipated to the Black Sea winemakingForum 2018, which took place from 27th to29th of June in the Black sea resort Goldensands close to the city of Varna. During theForum, Burgozone organized a special dinnerfor the participants who enjoyed tastyBulgarian dishes perfectly paired with ourwonderful wines and Bulgarian fire dancing.

Once again our Barrel Fermented Chardonnaywas ranked among the awarded wines at theprestigious international competition„International Wine Award Zurich 2018“ heldin Switzerland and was awarded with a silvermedal. This award along with the 91 points byWine Enthusiast, Best of Show and Gold Medalat Mundus Vini demonstrates the consistencyin quality over time of Burgozone wines.

♦ Burgozone „The Best Wine" by thejury, 3 gold and 2 silver medals

At the 5th edition of the Black Sea WinemakingForum, Burgozone won three Gold medals forthe magnificent Chardonnay, Viognier,Cabernet Sauvignon; and two Silver for RoseMerlot and Cabernet. Our Sauvignon Blancwas awarded the Gold medal and the specialprize for the "Best White Wine".

♦ "Socially Responsible Company"

United Business Clubs (CCB) have expressedtheir recognition to Burgozone with anomination in the category "SociallyResponsible Company" at the Second BalkanSME Conference, which took place at theHilton Hotel in Sofia. The event was attendedby more than 500 entrepreneurs.
