By: Maurene M. Pramoso (Young Adults Savers Coordinator)

The Youth Committee which is headed by Dir. GregAndal, Romano Bulatao, and Michelle Cariflo together withsome members of the Young Savers Club;. headed the firstArt Day held last November 7, 2004 at the BBCCCCompound. The theme of the Art Day was "EnvironmentalDestruction: A Youth Concern, too". The Youth Committeeaimed to let the children express their ideas about the themein their own creative and artistic way.

The activities done during the day included PosterMaking and Clay Molding. The Poster Making Event wasjoined by Patrick, Frances, and Jayson Pascua, and GenizaCampol. The Clay Molding was joined by four (4) cuteand vibrant Young Savers namely, Romano Rhupert andLeila Rolith Bulatao, Gabriel Racuya and Chloie Campol.

The Savers were very enthusiastic and creative intheir craft, taking into consideration that the theme wasquite a serious and heavy one for their age. This just provesthat our children can really go far and beyond ourexpectations as long as there is proper guidance andexposure.

For those who missed the activity, we do hope thatyou can join us in our next Art Day!

The cute participemts concentrate on their clay-molding as they createtheir masterpieces! The four were able to finish after an hour of battlingwith the clay.
