Donna Van Hooser and Belinda Smith

worked together to perfect the data that

ClassLink is using to coordinate with

OneRoster.

This is the information that comes from

CFISD’s eSchoolPLUS database and

will be used to register each student in

the ClassLink Portal.

This information includes key elements

such as the student’s information and

schedule. This allows the system to

present each student with their specific

textbook.

On Friday, August 17, 2018, CFISD hosted PowerSchool for a discussion

centered around PowerSchool’s Online Enrollment and Digital Student

Cumulative Folders (eCumm).

This additional technology will assist the CFISD community in enrolling their

students in to CFISD’s Opportunity for All Schools. The team is now working

on the implementation plan.

Two weeks until the first day of

school for CFISD. Our team is

feverishly finalizing preparations to

welcome 117,000 students and

18,000 staff members to the 2019

school year. I am always excited to

see our team overcome and over

deliver on customer expectations.

The student team has helped all

schools finalize their schedules

and the business team assisted

numerous departments in properly

provide attendance tracking for

staff development –

Our team has worked with at least

one team member out on vacation

all summer, recharging their

batteries. Teachers have returned

and students will be back on

August 27th. Next week we will all

be back ready for the students to

return. It makes me happy that

when one of our team member are

out it feels like a family member is

gone. I am ready for the whole

family to be back together. I am so

grateful for our team.

This week has been fast and furious! All registrars are

back on contract and enrolling new students. Marta

Bott, Patricia Maldonado, and Reneé Peel have

worked hard checking data to ensure that all student

information is correct for the first day of school.

I am reassured of the excellent team I have!
