When the Surround SoundPackage is taken in conjunction with a Whole Home Audio package, the Whole HomeAudio speakers from the family room must be relocated.

The 5.1 Surround Sound Package includes prewire andinstallation of (5) Pro�cient C660LCR, 6-1/2" round in-ceilingspeakers in a (3) front, (2) rear con�guration along with(2) 16/4 audio cables and (1) RG6 routed from the medianiche to the JWE predetermined subwoofer prewire location.The speakers are run directly to the media location and areterminated on a “Surround Sound Connection Center WallPlate” for direct connection to the homeowner suppliedsurround sound equipment. Included is our Surround SoundConnection Kit with hook-up instructions.

Designed to support the most recent Dolby 5.1 standards, this surround sound prewirepackage provides a discrete and economical solution for those interested in settingup a surround sound audio system at some future date.

This “prewire only” package does not include speakers, but does include a 16/2 strandedspeaker cable run directly from your media niche (or speci�ed surround sound connectioncenter) to each of �ve in-ceiling surround sound future speaker locations.

After the framing of your home is complete JWE will attach a prewire bracket to the ceilingjoist assembly at each of your future in-ceiling speaker locations. When you move in to yourhome, all you will see on the ceiling are circular plastic caps that unscrew to access the speakercables. At your media niche or surround sound connection center you will see a blank platesecured by either 2 or 4 screws that can be removed to access the other end of each speakercable. While it really is that simple to access your speaker cables, you should be aware that thespeaker installation may still be tricky. We strongly recommend that this work be performedby an audio professional.

Please note that neither JWE nor your builder is responsible for your speaker installation orthe possible required repair of drywall resulting from the installation process. The circularplastic caps on your ceiling are for wire access only and must be removed when placingspeakers. The prewire bracket and plastic cap assembly is not structurally designed tosupport weight. Do not attach to or hang speakers from this assembly!
