My name is Gabriel Roda Eugen Bach.I was born on December 6th 1993 to a Swiss mother and a Kongolese father.I love to learn, I love to create, I love to experience.I am an Interaction Designer.For me, design can be so much more than just printing a fancy poster or producing a beautiful chair. I look for the reason in things. I look for the relation of things. Through my diverce education during my Interaction Design studies, my exchange semester in the Netherlands, my Internship in a Web Agency and my travels, I have picked up a wide range of skills in design, ideation and development, which I could test in numerous projects in all media. My career has lead me to enter the startup scene where I have worked for the past two years. I took responsibility for the corporate and product design, social media marketing and played a crucial part in our pro-duct‘s front-end development.However, I have decided to move on and want to further deepen my understanding of coding and my skills in design and that‘s why I am looking for an opportunity to learn, not from my own experience but from people who better do what I want to do.

CreativityOne of the core skills, every designer and developer should have. Ever since I was little I wanted to create, to shape, to form. I always look for the ways of making the world we live in a better place and – as dull as it might sound – see myself as a designer as a means to do so.I will find easier ways to do something complicated, I will find new ap-proaches to old problems.

Openness and LikabilityAlthough it might sound pretentious, I see myself as very open and li-kable. I travel a lot, try to see as many places and meet as many peop-le as possible. In the course of traveling the world I learned a lot. I speak English, German and Swiss German fluently, French well, can get by in Spanish and have rudimental knowledge in Japanese.This opennes also leads to a general inner calmness. I have no problems approaching people or speaking and presenting in front of an audience.

Learning ReceptivityProbably my most important skill. If I find something interesting, I will learn it, I will teach myself if I have to. Starting from sports, music, cooking, software, to languages, I have taught myself numerous abilities and skills. I will never stop learning, I‘m the type of guy who would start study-ing physics at the age of 70 because they are just interested in it. I love design, but it is not the center of the universe. Much more I see design, especially interaction design, as an opportunity to combine the most diverse fields of skills and knowledge, to make our universe a better place.
