ADULT WELLNESS PROGRAMS (CALL 357-4455 FOR INFO)
Zumba ®
Exercise in a party-like atmosphere! Tone & sculpt
your body by doing simple, fun and effective moves.
The Latin flavour and international rhythms will move
your body like never before. NO dance experience
required. Open to anyone 16 years of age and up. Join
instructor Crystal Daigle and stay fit!
Begins: 3 Apr 6:30 to 7:30pm Tue $59 / 8 wks
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is excellent for releasing anxiety and stress,
improving health, strength and peace of mind. All ages
and levels of fitness easily learn Tai Chi with
accomplished instructor Ming Chen.
Begins: 4 Apr 7:30 to 8:30pm Wed $86 / 8 wks
Pilates I – The Essentials
Stretch and strengthen your body with Pilates. Improve
your posture, balance, and realign your body. The
essentials will lead you to rediscover the way your
body works or used to work! Fundamental exercises
will be introduced to lead you into the classic Pilates
exercises. Enrolment is limited for this class.
Begins: 16 Apr 6:30 to 7:30pm Mon $75 / 6 wks
Pilates II – Moving to Integration
Now that you have explored the essentials of Pilates,
you are ready to further challenge the mind and body!
With this class we will be building upon the basic
Pilate’s principles and fundamental exercises to
further increase mobility, flexibility, and strength in
the body. You’ll love the results! Previous experience
with Pilates is recommended.

Yoga for Beginners
Experience Traditional Yoga! Geared towards
beginners! Emphasis will be placed on unifying the
body, mind and spirit through relaxation, breathing
techniques and steady postures. One-on-One attention
and class handouts are provided.
Begins: 18 Apr 6:30 to 7:30pm Wed $75 / 6 wks
Yoga for Intermediate
Experience a mix of Sivananda and Vinyasa Yoga.
The Vinyasa style integrates breath with movement in
a flowing sequence of yoga poses. Sivananda focuses
on relaxation, breathing techniques and steady held
postures. Previous experience with Yoga is
recommended.

Recreational Co-ed Badminton
This program will take a non-competitive format and
is designed to enhance your fitness level, and provide a
fun evening out on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at

Recreational Co-ed Volleyball
This program will take a non-competitive format and
is designed to enhance your fitness level. Volleyball is

Acrylic Painting
Enhance your knowledge of acrylics with this course designed by Carla Colford. Beginner to advanced

Pencil Drawing
Joyce Kuzyk will assist you to acquire the basic skills of realistic drawing. In eight easy classes you will master

Watercolour Painting
Joyce Kuzyk will teach basic colour theory, colour mixing and watercolour techniques to create your own

THE 55+ CORNER
Carpet Bowling Enjoy this challenging game every Tuesday and
Wednesday morning from 1030am to 12noon. No

Bridge A bridge club is established in Oromocto. If you enjoy
playing bridge please join us each Wednesday from 1:00 to
3:15pm at the Hazen Park Centre. For additional info

Aquafitness Designed to enhance fitness level and independent living!
The program runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings from
10:00 to 11:00am. Registration takes place at the Base
Pool with the instructor. FREE!
55+ Laughter Yoga
Laughter Yoga is a combination of unconditional laughter
and yogic breathing which offers physiological and
psychological benefits. The hour would consist of a
serious of laughter and deep breathing exercises which
result in positive energy to help cope with the stress of
daily life and fosters a positive and hopeful attitude.

Zumbatomic® (Zumba® for Kids) Youth Drawing & Painting
The crazy-cool dance fitness workout inspired by Zumba® but for kids! Your child will love to move & groove to hip hop, salsa, reggaeton and more! For youth ages 4 to 9 years. Pre-registration is required! Maximum: 18 $ 46 / 6 wks

Learn the basics or enhance your skills in either drawing or painting with these classes. All skill levels welcome. Basic supplies will be provided. Students will be supplied with one canvas. For youth 7 to 16 yrs. $49 / 6 wks

After School Program Active Explorers (Ages 2-5 years)
Registration Packages for this licensed Child Care Program
are available at our Service Centre on the 1st floor of the
Municipal offices (located at 4 Doyle Drive). The program
is designed for school aged children (grades K-5). The cost
is $55 per child per week. Full Time Clients Only.
Maximum of 28 children. Quality coordinators will offer an
activity-based schedule in a safe, supportive setting.
Discover the fun and benefits of physical
activity! This program is designed for children and
their parents/guardians to participate in age-appropriate
movement skills and explore enjoyable activities.
Sessions will be held on Thursday mornings. Please
