SBM Offshore has a policy to respect third party IP rights and expects others to respect the rights that SBM owns.

Our IP is used to protect SBM developments in a competitive environment and to create a return on the R&D investments. This is centrally managed by the Group IP Department who give support to the SBM Product Lines and to each Regional Centre. SBM has also adopted a licensing-out program of IP rights to share innovations with the offshore Industry.
