Die Instrumente sind vollständig und blasenfrei in das Tauchbad zu legen. Abweichungen von den vom Desinfektionsmittelhersteller vorgeschriebenen Verweilzeitenoder Konzentrationen sowie nicht abgereinigte Anhaftungen können durch Bildung von unerwünschten Reaktionsprodukten den Zustand der Instrumentenoberflächen beeinträchtigen und/oder die Wirksamkeit der Desinfektion in Frage stellen.Desinfektionsmittel für die Instrumentendesinfektion rotierender Dentalinstrumente müssen ein CE-Zeichen mit einer 4-stelligen Nummer tragen. Es sind ausschließlich die Mittelauszuwählen, die vom Hersteller zur Desinfektion von rotierenden Instrumenten der Gruppen der jeweils verwendeten Instrumentenart (Stahl oder Hartmetall oder Diamant oderSchleifkörper oder Polierer/ Bürsten) ausdrücklich als geeignet empfohlen werden ( z.b. • Bei chirurgischen Instrumenten mit langem Schaft ist ggf.eine zusätzliche Kühlung erforderlich.

• Rotary dental instruments should be stored at room tempe-rature in their original packaging where they are protectedagainst dust and moisture until used for the first time.

• Only use undamaged turbines which have been servicedand cleaned, as well as hand and right-angle pieces.

• Instruments must be inserted as deep as possible.• Instruments must have reached the required speed before

being applied to the workpiece; absolutely concentric run-ning must be ensured.

• Note the maximum permitted rotational speed (specified onevery BUSCH package). Non-compliance with the maxi-mum permitted speed can be dangerous.

• Do not wedge or lever the instruments.• Wear a mask / safety glasses and use aspiration, depen-

ding on the application concerned.• Do not exceed the maximum contact pressure of 0.3 to 2 N.• Instruments may only be used in conformity with their

intended use.

• Additional cooling is required for FG instruments with atotal length of more than 22 mm or a working part diametergreater than 2 mm.

• Additional cooling may be required for surgical instrumentswith long shank.

• Adequate cooling with water (at least 50 ml per minute indental practice) must be ensured to prevent an undesirablebuild-up of heat.

• Deformed or non-concentric instruments and instrumentswith damaged / worn working parts must be discarded andreplaced.

Application area: rotary steel, carbide and diamond instruments, polishers and ceramic abrasives for use on patients.Restricted conditioning: product life depends on wear and damage due to use of the instruments. Recommandations de sécurité et d’hygièneVersion 05/2008

• En attendant leur première utilisation, les instruments rotatifsdoivent être conservés dans leur emballage d’origine, à tem-pérature ambiante et à l’abri de la poussière et de l’humidité.

• Utiliser des turbines ainsi que des pièces à main et contre-angles impeccables, entretenus et nettoyés.

• Insérer les instruments au maximum.• Amener les instruments à la bonne vitesse de rotation

avant de les mettre en contact avec la pièce à travailler ;veiller à ce que la rotation soit précisément concentrique.

• Respecter la vitesse de rotation maximale admissible (indi-quée sur chaque emballage BUSCH). Un dépassement de

la vitesse de rotation maximale admissible entraînerait unrisque de sécurité.

• Éviter tout mouvement de levier ou de blocage des instru-ments.

• Utiliser les moyens d’aspiration en protégeant les yeux etla bouche, selon le travail à effectuer.

• Ne pas dépasser la pression indiquée de 0,3 à 2 N.• N’utiliser les instruments que pour leur usage indiqué.• Un refroidissement supplémentaire est indispensable pour les

instruments FG ayant, soit une longueur totale de plus de 22mm, soit une partie travaillante d’un diamètre supérieur à 2 mm.

• Un refroidissement suffisant par eau s’impose lors de l’utili-sation afin d’éviter tout dégagement thermique indésirable.Au moins 50 ml à la minute pour les préparations en cabi-net dentaire.

• Les instruments déformés ou de concentricité insuffisante,ainsi que les instruments présentant des parties travaillantesendommagées ou usées, doivent être enlevés et éliminés.

Champ d’application: Instruments rotatifs en acier, en carbure, diamantés, instruments de polissage et abrasifs céramiques destinés à l’usage sur l’homme.Restriction au retraitement: la durée de vie des produits dépend de l’usure et des endommagements subis dans le cadre de l’utilisation des instruments. Polissoirs pour prophylaxie et brosses pour prophylaxie sont des instuments pour usage unique. Pour les instruments non inoxydables, on utilisera des désinfectants et des détergents contenant un agent anti-corrosion. Las desviaciones de lo especificado por el fabricante del desinfectante en lo que se refiereal tiempo de permanencia o a las concentraciones, así como las adherencias no eliminadas, pueden deteriorar las superficies de los instrumentos debido a la formación de productos de reacción no deseados, y/o cuestionar la eficacia de la desinfección.Los desinfectantes utilizados para la desinfección de los instrumentos dentales rotativos deben llevar un símbolo CE con un número de 4 dígitos. Se deben elegir exclusivamentelos productos que hayan sido recomendados explícitamente por el fabricante para la desinfección de instrumentos rotativos de los grupos de tipos de instrumentos utilizados encada caso (acero o carburo o diamantados o abrasivos o pulidores/cepillos) (p. ej. Recomendaciones de seguridad e higiene para instrumentos rotativosEstado: 05/2008

• Hasta su utilización por primera vez, los instrumentos rota-tivos deben ser conservados en su envase original, a tem-peratura ambiente y protegidos del polvo y de la humedad.

• Utilizar turbinas, piezas de mano y contra-ángulos correc-tos, revisados y limpios.

• Fijar los instrumentos introduciéndolos lo más profunda-mente posible.

• Comenzar a hacer girar los instrumentos antes de aplicar-los al objeto; al hacerlo observar que giren exactamenteconcéntricos.

• No sobrepasar el número máximo de revoluciones (estáindicado en cada envase BUSCH). Sobrepasar el númeromáximo de revoluciones provoca riesgo de seguridad.

• Evitar ladear y apalancar los instrumentos.• Dependiendo de la aplicación, utilizar protección bucal u

ocular y aspiración.• No superar una presión de contacto de 0,3 a 2 N.• Utilizar los instrumentos sólo para su uso previsto.

• Los instrumentos FG con una longitud total superior a 22 mm, o un diámetro de la parte activa superior a 2 mm,requieren un enfriamiento adicional.

• En los instrumentos quirúrgicos con mango largo, puederesultar necesario un enfriamiento adicional.

• Para evitar que se produzca un calentamiento no deseado,hay que procurar un enfriamiento suficiente con agua. En lapráctica odontológica es como mínimo de 50 ml por minuto.

• Se deben desechar y eliminar los instrumentos deformadoso que no giren de forma concéntrica, así como los que ten-gan las partes activas dañadas o desgastadas.

Campo de aplicación: instrumentos rotativos de acero, carburo y diamantados, pulidores y abrasivos cerámicos para aplicación en personas.Limitación de la reutilización: la vida útil del producto está determinada por el desgaste y el deterioro causados por el uso del instrumento. Pulidores profilácticos y cepillos profilácticos sonde uso único. En caso que los instrumentos no sean resistentes a la oxidación, se deberán utilizar productos desinfectantes y de limpieza con protección contra la corrosión (los instrumentosno resistentes a la oxidación no son adecuados para el esterilizador de vapor).
