Purpose

• Project EAGLE is a three week summer program designed to:– Prepare participants to be college ready.– Give participants study skills, technology

tools, and leadership skills to be successful in college

– Assist participants in selection the appropriate major or career and obtaining financial aid and scholarships to help fund their college education

– Orient participants to the campus and services that are available

Eligibility• Must be one of the following:– A first-generation college student– Student from a low-income family– Student with a physical or learning

disability

• Must be seeking an Associates degree

Participation Requirements

• Must have a standard high school diploma or GED

• Must participate in all of the scheduled activities for weeks 1 and 3

• Must attend all classroom and lab instruction sessions in the academic area where the student is deficient.

• Must apply for, and participate in, the Student Support Services program

Cost• There will be no tuition cost for

instruction, since this is not a credit course and will not appear on the students’ transcript

• PERT retakes are free during the course of the program
