SYNOPSIS In the movie, a captivating statesman from America’s past takes a modern-day family on a series of wild adventures. With a spicy mix of humor, magic and logic, he opens their eyes to the origins and importance of the U.S. Constitution, the degree to which it is under attack today and what can and must be done to save it. Key aspects of the Constitution are very clearly outlined and important Amendments—such as those guaranteeing freedom of religion and speech, the right to bear arms, warrants for search and seizure, State’s rights—are shown to be vital in everyday life.
The real reasons behind the attempts to destroy our Second Amendment rights are brought home in dramatic fashion by a famous American hero from the Second World War. Then, in a hair-raising ride, the “carnival” that passes for government in Washington is exposed for the frightening House of Horrors that it has become. As a result of these eye-popping journeys and disclosures, a whole community takes to the streets in honor of Constitution Day. They know that the Constitution and its Bill of Rights and other Amendments are the bulwark of America’s great power and success and the very cornerstone of the freedom that we all enjoy.

MAIN CAST Jimmy Hager as “Ben” Jimmy has appeared in scores of stage, TV and movie projects. Along with his acting prowess, Jimmy boasts the following traits: Dog Whisperer, Professional Grandfather, Classical and Jazz Flute, Retired Blues Rock Sax and Harp Player. He brings his wealth of experience to the set of In Search of Liberty.
Bobby Deen as David Ellis, Photographer Bobby and his older brother, Jamie, operate their mother, Paula Deen’s, restaurant, The Lady & Sons, in Savannah, Georgia. Bobby has appeared on numerous cooking shows, including Paulas, as well as starring in his and Jamie’s, Road Tasted, and Junk Food Flip, with Nikki Dinki. This is Bobby’s first role in a movie.
Karen Boles as Lori Ellis, Publisher of The Foothill Ledger Karen is no stranger to movies and television, with dozens of appearances to her credit, in lead, principal and supporting roles. She has also done voiceover work and commercials and enjoys equestrian events.
Kayla Huth as Jennifer Ellis, 15-year old daughter Kayla is known by many as the Co-Host for the Tampa Bay Rays Baseball team, “Rays Rookies”. Aside from her work in both the small and large screen, she is quite comfortable singing, playing guitar or competing in sports.
Tyler Huth as Ryan Ellis, 12-year old son Tyler began in commercials, landing his first with Disney. He has also modeled, appeared in a couple of television shows and been a principal in four movies. He can sport a Southern or British accent as well as do improv.
InSearchofLiberty Stella Rylee as Lucy Ellis, 3-year old daughter Stella, the youngest member of the cast, will be able to boast that her first movie was about the US Constitution. The adorable youngster added life to many of the scenes, as you will see when you watch In Search of Liberty.
Claudia Deen as Amanda, Assistant Editor of The Foothill Ledger, from South America Claudia is a Certified Health Coach, holds a brown belt in karate, finished seven marathons and 13 half-marathons and is a two-time 70.3 Ironman finisher. This is Claudia’s first role in a movie.
Simone Griffeth as Charlene Murray, Lori’s mother, owner of Charlene’s Book Nook Simone has enjoyed a career in both television and on the big screen, having appeared in numerous popular shows, such as Dukes of Hazard, Hart to Hart, Hawaii Five-0, Magnum PI, Six Million Dollar Man, Starsky & Hutch, and more. She was originally billed above Sylvester Stallone in Death Race 2000.
Madison Rising (Rio Hiett, Sam Fishman, Tom DiPietro and AJ Larsen) as themselves, billed as the most patriotic rock and roll band in America.

DIRECTOR – NORM NOVITSKY
Norm Novitsky is an independent filmmaker, producer and director. He is the founder of BluNile Films and IC Liberty Films. Norm is known for his staunch support of the U.S. Constitution, and his latest film project, the dramatic-comedy In Search Of Liberty will introduce the U.S. Constitution to a wide audience. In 1998, after achieving success in the business world, Norm returned to school to study filmmaking, where he wrote, produced and directed two short independent films before setting off as an independent film producer. As the head of BluNile Films, he executive-produced a teen suspense thriller, Pray for Morning, released in 2006.
By producing an entertaining film, Norm and his team will enlighten young and old alike on the importance of the U.S. Constitution and its impact on our freedom and liberty. “If you don’t know your rights, it’s easy to lose them. We have to inform the public on the importance of the Constitution,” says Novitsky. “If we continue to bypass the Constitution, it will no longer exist. Thus, our freedom will perish.” “In Search of Liberty, the motion picture, will visually demonstrate to modern-day America the application and relevance of the Constitution in an lively and entertaining way.”
