SEVILLE´S TAPAS
The Story of “Tapas”
• The origin of TAPAS came from the past. Before, when the people were in the Wine Shops and they were drinking wine, the flies get into the glass. So, a man asked the waiter for a chorizos’ slice to put it in the top of the glass like a top.
• Then, everybody said: “Give me a glass of wine with top”.
• The tops changed according to the day.
EL RINCONCILLO
• In “El Rinconcillo” the typical tapas are Spinach&Chickpea, Pavias of Codfish.
• It’s in “Plaza de los terceros”
BLANCO CERRILLO
• Blanco cerrillo is in Velázquez street.
• This place is very small.
• You can eat frite fish (pescaito frito).
LAS COLUMNAS DE BACO
• There, the most typical tapas are different recipe of Codfish.
• It’s in Santa Maria de Gracia Street, 2.
• There is a similar place: “El bacalao”.
BODEGUITA ROMERO
• It’s in Harinas Street, 10.
• It’s has all types of Seville’s tapas.
• For example: Spanish omelette, jam, ‘tortillitas de camarones’, ‘montaditos’, etc.
EL CAIRO
• It’s in Reyes Católicos Street.
• You can eat also frite fish (pescaito frito).
