To deliver to the Secretary of State • any data• at any time from now until eternity• in any format specified by DTI

This applies to any company that has ever been involved in a licence.

Information Strategy

Only receive and store Information used on a regular basis in necessary business functions.

Information needed occasionally should be stored / retained elsewhere by third parties eg CDA , DEAL.

Define appropriate standards for storage and exchange of Information (XML) eg PPRS.

Audit companies to ensure that they are satisfying their data retention obligations.
