• The 26th European Conference on Modelling and Simulation will be held on the Koblenz Campus of the University of Koblenz-Landau from May 29 till June 1st, 2012

• The campus was built in 1999 and is currently being extended.

• Founded in 1990, successor to a higher education institution mainly devoted to training teachers

• Two campuses in Koblenz and in Landau, 200 km apart

• Eight faculties (four each on both campuses)

• Among them in Koblenz a Computer Science Faculty with 22 professors, some 80 other scientific staff and some 1800 students
