The Sky is Full of Fire Tonight: Commentary on the Rise of Khaos CultureSt. Everblaze the Badikal -4° :: Self Proclaimed Ipsissimus

I have gazed upon the society in which I have been raised, and I see masses of youthful idealists yearningfor a connection with something intangible that wraps its sticky tendrils around the universe. "Tuned In"

as the now dead Timmy Leary would have said. My generation lacks an identity, yet in this, we are blossoming into something beautiful. There is not a single bad seed in the bunch, and even the mostconservative teenager has had their eyes torn open and is engaging in what one might call 'free thought'.This is happening in the face of perhaps the most prevalent time of corporate mind control, the frying panof the meme war. Popular culture has all but raised their Louis Vuitton printed white flag. "They" aresubmitting to the counter culture, and as Douglas Rushkioff puts it, they are trying to throw money at US:They want the danger of subversion, even if it is in safe packages. We simply need to declare victory.

What is to blame for this great shift? How is the so called "ironic" slacker generation different from their parents or grandparents? For this, we must look back. The hippies, perhaps, resemble Gen Y the best: popular culture was rising from the dark times of the beat poets and despite dark clothes and coffeestained teeth; the new dreamers had no identity. They were clinging onto scraps of whatever they couldfind, trying to stay afloat in a dark time. Assaulted by growing hyper-memetic advertising and theterrifying drums of war, they appeared to be lost. Yet, along came a new technology for consciousnessexpansion: LSD. This gave rise to the most terrifying displays of individualism that the western world hadseen for some time.

My generation has been brought up using a much more powerful drug than LSD, a drug that expands themind further and offers a near infinite number of doors to walk through: TCP, USB, IDE, LCD, IP, Wi-Fi, DSL: The Internet. There is a reason that there is a vested interest in destroying this network, or atleast subverting it into something that can make money, friends. There are no arcane secrets anymore-

We've grokked the wiki articles, we've googled the youtube videos: There are no masters anymore. Weare our own idols, and we are blossoming into our own gods.

The average person's spirituality is no longer in the hands of the preacher, the pastor, the zen master. Iadmire the Christian who has chosen their path, as I admire anyone who chooses their own path. The nextstep is to smash the society created paradigms that bind us. Show me a hipster, and I show you an adeptchaos magician. Concepts, memes, fashions and trends are now our own to create. We have seen the riseof hyper culture; paradigms are now built and smashed in the same night. Every aspect of culture isgrowing at a startling rate. I fear, however, that much like the hippies, this drug has the ability to be our downfall. Too content we are to absorb information and never leave the comfort of our air conditionedrooms.

Black is the new tie dye.TCP is the new LSD.Khaos is the new Zen

Kemetic Astrology for October through Mid-NovemberBy: Nefret Nubti

With the 'month' of Geb - we entered into the season of Akhet, the inundation. This was a time whereHapi will flood causing the black silt/soil to overflow on the land. Hapi is one of the Four sons of Horus

in ancient Egyptian religion. During the season of Akhet, people would be measuring the soil depositsand deciding where which crops would be planted and so forth. This was also one of the 'idle' times for the farmers and others of lower class, in which case they would be conscripted to help with the buildingof national monuments, doing repair and brush up work in the city and so forth.

At the tail end of August (tropical zodiac) or mid September is when we enter the month of Geb. Manynon Christian traditions have a 'mother' earth; however, the Kemetic Tradition does not. Geb is the Father of Kemetic civilization, the father of the Eniad : earth, separated from his siter Nut. It was Geb who

brought food to the Kemites, he is harvest. As he is 'earth' everything that comes from earth is a part of Geb, providing us with all we need to survive. Geb is generally depicted with green paint. His animal isthe goose. His incense is patchouli, stone is amber, metal is bronze and his tree is ished. His major Temple was in Heliopolis. There is a modern myth, that since the benu bird (greeks called it pheonix) washatched from an egg of Geb on the ished, that the Heliopolis will rise over the modern city of Cairo andexpose itself once again.

When I think about Geb his association is how the divine manifests on our physical reality. He isCREATION enacted into substance. I am reminded of one of the ancient myths - The parents of Geb and

Nut are Tefnut and Shu. We start with Amun who ejaculated and thus BIG BANG the universe iscreated. Tefnut and Shu are the beginnings of our earthy creation. Shu did not want Geb and Nut to betogether so he separated them Nut being the night sky. However Djehuti brought them sometime together through betting and they were able to have children: Wsr, Set, Auset, Heru Ur (Heru the elder) and

NebtHet. (Greek names: Osirus, Seth, Isis, Horus, Nephthys respectively)

There is another myth, from the tales of the dispute of Heru and Set (Heru the younger) in this myth hewas the arbitrator. It is these things I like to meditate on, as Geb is not so cut and dry. Because he isEARTH - he influences stability and grounding, because of being the arbitrator, he brings forth balance.Because he is earth he creates harvest, and through his influence we receive for our efforts and as acreator, art is born.

When celebrating the beginning of the season of Geb, I try to look through and find translated text thatsing exalted praises to him, while using the fixed ritual type. I don¶t always use the same words in thesame places. When looking through the translations you can find good ideas for meditations and if youlike doing spells, there is that as well to inspire. You can bring forth, create what you are 'sowing' on this

physical plane through your own art of craft or spell working.

Also along with 'ritual' things, a type of 'offering' ceremony is good here. It is always good to give back tothe earth what you take from it.

Mid September or mid October (depending on if you go by tropical zodiac or sidereal zodiac) is themonth of Auset - Autumn EquinoxAuset embodies the cunning nature, one could even say manipulative. These words may carry a negativeconnotation and I¶m sure I could say something like; she is able to overcome the impossible odds, overcome any obstacle thought her wit and tenacity. She can be deceitful, the way she was able to gain

the secret name of RA, calculating as when she was helping her son thwart the schemes of Set. Auset isalso THE mother figure, a woman who protects, guards and guides children. She is a woman of birth, a

physical manifestation of the creative aspect. In the guise of the Black Isis (or more commonly known asthe Black Madonna) she is guardian of mysteries. She learned the sacred spells from Djehuti, he whogave us medu netr (language). It is common to find many spells for protection of initiates, to remember the spells, even to heal. Her sacred stone is carnelian and is thought to protect against any type of negativeenergy or magic. Her metal is electrum: a mixture of gold, silver and copper. Jasmine is sacred to her andcedar is thought to protect against decay and destruction, usually of a magical nature. The swallow is her animal as that was the form she took to search for her husband. One other thing that I have noticed thatgoes overlooked is that she is the patron of fidelity. Her major temple was at Philae - where she restedwhile on her search.

One thing about medu netr is that it is a privilege to learn them because they are sacred in nature. As onevocalizes, once creates divine resonance / vibration that affect one's environment. Djed means 'power of speech' Ur Hekau - great of magick. Auset is the patron of those priests. One of the titles of the Queenwas she who¶s every wish is done. One of the many ways to show respect to her is to go over theLamentations of Isis.

Late Oct or Early Nov Anpu (greek name Anubis)

Anpu governs transformation, whether in the spiritual sense or in a literal sense. He is the one who guidesthe deceased through the hall of judgment, as he guides the initiate through the duat. He is the ntr of alchemy, shows us the process of decay and how it can be used to sustain life. He is also known by thename of Ap Uat - opener of the way. He was the patron of mummification. He is also the ntr of divination. He assists us in using our other perceptions and brings other energies towards influencing this

plane. Because he shows us how to transform our lives, or even our energy or sight this goes towardswhatever situations we may encounter. Turning negative into positive for example, or for discerninghidden meanings or motives. He is also protective in nature. He is our companion and our guide. As theson of Set he has immense destructive influences that can be used in a myriad of ways including healing. His temple center was Lycopolis. His color is black. His stone is serpentine, his incense camphor, metal is

brass and his tree is the palm tree. As part of the celebratory right I will usually use special divinationmodes or utilize his energies to remove negative influences from my life, or turn uncomfortable situationsmore toward my benefit.

Kabbalah: An Introduction

By Wyverrn

Kabbalah is a system of Judaic mystical teachings. Reputedly communicated to Moses from god when hereceived the Ten Commandments, Kabbalah was originally an oral tradition that was passed down to onlycertain students. The word Kabbalah means ³to receive´, due to its being passed down orally. The actualname of the teaching given to Moses is unknown (if there even was one).

It is primarily a path to greater understanding of the divine universe and in a way, seems to be a goodcompanion to the Commandments.

If we view the Ten Commandments as a sort of shortcut, i.e., Simple rules for the common person to live by, then the Kabbalah could be considered the ³advanced´ course, teaching the student the why of it, aswell as the techniques that allow them to grow closer to the divine.

Kabbalah is divided into 3 main approaches, or paths:

Theoretical or theosophical Kabbalah (learning)

This path seeks to understand intellectually the divine universe, and is primarily the path that occultscholars, theologians and teachers use. It is defining the metaphysical universe for study andinterpretation. This is often the approach used by beginners and students since a base understanding of the universe is necessary for the more active paths.

Ecstatic Kabbalah (Elevation)

This path seeks to use the teaching to grow closer to the divine, and seeks to gain holiness andenlightenment through meditation and prayer. A follower of this path seeks to pass through the gatewaysof the 10 Sephiroth (the 10 realms on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life), and eventually merge with the divine.

Theurgistic Kabbalah (Power)

This path seeks to use the teachings to influence the divine to affect events and reality. This is alsoknown as Kabbalistic Magic. This path requires some knowledge of both Theoretical and EcstaticKabbalah. It uses rituals and invocations using mystical entities, the Tree of Life, and the Hebrewalphabet to affect change in accordance with the theurgists will.

There are many variations and combination of the above approaches of course (Such as Chassidism), aswell as merging the base idea¶s into entirely different systems (like Golden Dawn).

Foundations of KabbalahThere are several key concepts in Kabbalah, actually many more than are listed below, but the mainfoundations are what are the most important.

Page 6: Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

The Judeo-Christian Spiritual Framework

Much of Kabbalah is based on the familiar concepts of a monotheistic god, angels, demons and other familiar Christian spiritual concepts. This makes it easier to visualize for those that have been raised in aculture is Christian based (western).

The Hebrew Alphabet

The 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet are considered sacred, and indeed, along with the 10 Septhiroths of the Tree of Life, are the foundations of creation. The Kabbalah teaches that these are what god used inthe creation of everything, and still hold that power to those that know the secrets of their use.

The Tree of Life

This may be the most important concept in Kabbalah. It is certainly the concept most borrowed and used by other systems. It is a very elegant and symbolic structure, holding the 10 Septhiroths, and the 22 pathsto the Sephiroths (each named with Hebrew letter). There are also the three pillars supporting the

Sephiorh. The tree of life has such a wealth of symbolism that almost anyone can find some part of it thatresonates within them.

The Five Worlds

Another key concept is that the universe (including each Sephiroth) is divided into 5 levels, or worlds.

Adam Kadmon ± The primordial world. The other four formed from this world

Atsilut ± the world of emanation and no existence.

Beriah ± the world of creation and the dwelling place of souls.

Yetsirah ± the world of formation and the home of the Angels.

µAsiah ± the world of action and the home of the physical universe.

There are many more concepts and constructs as well, and just the few mentioned above could fill manyvolumes each. Future articles may explore some of these concepts in detail.

Using KabbalahThe teachings of Kabbalah for the practical (magic) user allow for infinite uses. A Kabbalah Adept canreputedly command the heavenly hosts, and wield any of the abilities of the Christian divine, including

creation itself.

The practice of Kabbalah however, is very ritualistic and specific. So, while one can theoreticallymanipulate and direct any force, whether it exists or not, the knowledge to do so can be hard to obtain.Often the only source of such information is directly from divine beings, and while it is occasionally

possible to get such knowledge from those who have already acquired it, it is seldom of use.

Page 7: Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

My theory on that is that the information given is quite specific to the individual, and even if they doshare it, it will not work as well (if at all) for another person.

In other systems though, the Tree of Life itself can be very useful. The symbolism is so powerful thatalmost any ritualistic system can utilize it to some effect.

Further informationThe Web is a huge source on Kabbalah information, although to study Kabbalah itself, I recommend onlyJudaic sources:

My Personal Rabbi - This is an excellent series of lectures on the Kabbalah by Rabbi Dubrov. His styleis not dry, but interesting and even humorous at times, although it is 19 hours of lectures.

Kabbalah 101 ± A series of article (23 so far) By Rabbi Lieberman on the kabbalah

Or just Google kabbalah, with its recent surge in popularity there are thousands of resources, books, and

even teachers all waiting for you.

Autonomous Action and the µHerd Mentality´By Nylus

The mind of a normal man is as tumultuous as the sea. Most individuals are guided by their thoughts andemotions like a dog on a lease. They do not act; they react to the situations of everyday life in a set and

preconditioned way. I¶ve seen this alot in the area I¶ve grown up in. Detroit can be harsh, but I¶ve had theluck of growing up in a stable home environment with little negative activity. I¶ve still come acrosssituations where people feel they need to react in a certain manner though. A gang banger for instance, can¶t allow anyone to disrespect him on the basis that the entire hood would think him weak, and prey onhim. To retaliate against ANY form of disrespect was the norm, a preconditioned must that hadconsequences when overlooked. This state of mind left few other options to be considered; there wereonly two; retaliate or be preyed upon. Such is life in the jungle. But even in the jungle, certain names andfaces stand above the rest. Individuals who¶ve had the courage to see beyond their present situation, andcalculate strategies that gave others pause. To this think outside the box in this fashion, men had to think outside the general consensus of what¶s µacceptable¶, and what¶s µfoolish¶. The herd mentality that 80%of individuals follow (any current trends, cultural meme¶s, etc) constricts the personal freedom of the

individual and tries to force him/her to act in accordance to the societal norm. Differences are frownedupon, as the herd must be the same, with as little variation as possible across the board.

Therefore, the first step in living a life of freedom (if you feel that you¶re free now, you¶re probablydeepest in the Cage) is forcing yourself beyond the social restrictions of society in thought and action.Obviously, criminal behavior of any kind is encouraged or condoned but µautonomous action¶ (actionwith or without care to social norms of µgood¶ or µevil¶) is stressed as a necessity to the work of Self-creation.

In order to practice autonomous action, it is imperative that you don¶t think of things in terms of good andevil, or practical or impractical. In some instances you¶ll have to force your mind into submission, fighting guilt, fear, and irrational scenarios that will not cease to stop popping up. However long andarduous the Work, do NOT cease the work of deconstructing yourself, and reconstructing yourself in your own image. Here are some things to help get you started and help clarify what I mean.

1. Keep a journal-Write down EVERYTHING. Every impulse, impression, and dislike, like, and preconceived notion. What do you assume? What comes naturally? What seemsimpossible? Where are your insecurities? All these questions need to be answered or elseyou¶re wasting your time.

2. Action-If you feel you are of timid disposition, then start small, start speaking up for yourself more despite the fear, seek to directly break down your preconceived notions of things (written in your journal) one step at a time. You will falter but you must persist.Do something that is considered by the general consensus to be morally µwrong¶ and thensomething that is considered morally µright¶. How do you feel? Passively watch youemotion but don¶t feed into the mental chatter-if you find yourself doing so, pull yourself

back to your center. Gradually escalade the µgood¶ and µevil¶ acts alternating according toyour disposition.

Page 9: Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

8/8/2019 Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/infinity-network-ezine-issue-2-fall-2010 9/38

Now do something considered outrageous (Make random noises, act OCD for a week).Preferably something you will be laughed at by friends or enemies. Engage in this actwholeheartedly in front of them without any prior hints. How does this make you feel?Write this down.

3. Thought-Our minds are our own worst enemies but it can be made into a close friend.Every defeatist thought should be recognized for what it is; something to keep you inyour place, mired in self-pity. Every thought of ³I can¶t´ or ³I¶m not good enough´should be forcibly squashed in place of a positive. Repeat it until you believe it. You canmake yourself believe anything with enough repetition.

These exercises in Autonomy is meant to shatter the current conception of your world. Despite itssimplicity, these exercises are meant to be practiced diligently until you completely break down any

preconceived notions about your life and how it is lived. After you break down your current worldview, you can begin to move outside the herd mind and create yourself in your own image.

A Greek RitualBy Peggy Androes

There are many different rituals for the Greek Deities. These deities, however, like precision anddiscipline. One of my favorite rituals is one to Artemis. Her favorite day is Saturday, especially one with

a full moon, as her Roman counterpart is Diana, the moon goddess. (Saturday was named for Saturn, alsoknown as Zeus, Artemis¶ father)

The best place to work a ritual to Artemis is in woods, outdoors. Artemis is a nature goddess, being thegoddess of the hunt and all woodland creatures. DO NOT kill one of her animals, as it will anger her deeply, and would be counterproductive if you are paying her homage.

Make sure you clean your body before working a ritual to ANY deity of this pantheon. Then sprinkle saltaround your workplace to ward off any negativity that may enter the area. Build a small pit to burn

pinecones; you will only need 2 or 3 to burn. (Make sure it is inside the circle of salt)

If you feel comfortable, you may open a circle, but it is not ultimately important. Concentrate on Artemisas you are doing everything, since this is a ritual to her. Build power with the energies around you.

Chant the following invocation:

Great and powerful ArtemisBringer of love

Bringer of peaceBringer of Harmony

Sister of ApolloDaughter of Zeus

Come to me this moon filled nightGreat Artemis

Goddess of Woodland CreaturesGoddess of the HuntI come to you in love

I come to you in peaceI honor you this dayI honor you this hour

I honor you this minuteCome to me Artemis, Come to me Artemis, Come to me Artemis

Burn your pinecones, and meditate to the Goddess. If you need a favor from her, now is the time to ask.I like to leave an offering for her in the grove or sacred space where I have performed this ritual; typicaltraditional offerings are wine or fruit. Partake one bite or sip, then either spill it into the ground, or lay thefruit on the ground. Make sure you bid her to stay with you, or go if she must. Do not be surprised if yousee one of her creatures, such as a deer. Just try not to frighten it away.Your ritual is done. Stay as long as you like in the grove, allow yourself to feel her, allow her energies towash over you.

Remembering and Interpreting Your Dreams Applications: The Dream Journal and the Dream Dictionary

By: Tesseract Ouroboros

The two tools presented in this article can assist you in both remembering and interpreting yourdreams. The materials are inexpensive, and the result of such efforts can be very rewarding.

Dream Journal - Remember your dreams!

If you don't remember many dreams at first, don't worry! Thinking about remembering your dreams willhelp you remember more of them in the future. A dream journal helps in remembering dreams, and canserve as an excellent tool for sorting out your personal dream symbolism.

Creating and using a dream journal is very simple. All you need is something to write on, something towrite with, and sometime soon after you wake up, and before the memory fades. When you wake up,write in the journal what you dreamed about. Take note of colors, sensations, emotions, locations,

people/animals, numbers, and/or any other details that have meaning to you.

The dream journal has many uses:

If you are trying to remember your dreams more often, it can serve as a useful tool to help youremember.

As all the expressions of the dreams are parts of your own psyche, you can use the journal as a way tofigure out what things in the dream actually mean to you (books or other sources that tell you what theymean, are often very inaccurate). If you are trying to increase how lucid you are in your dreams, you can write down any triggers younotice that allow you to become lucid/more lucid/less lucid, keep track of what you have done whilelucid/what has happened while lucid, as well as anything that happens in your dreams that may let youknow you are dreaming. If you have nightmares, you may also want to write in an alternate ending to the nightmare, or how youwould change it if you were conscious enough to be lucid for the dream.

You can keep track of any cycles or trends in your dreams, such as nightmares, bizarre or disturbingdreams, and premonitional or magical dreams, and what can trigger them to occur.

You can write positive affirmations in your dream journal to help you when you are dreaming, such as "Iwill become aware that I am dreaming when..."You can use the dream symbolism presented to explore your own emotions and psychological state. Thesubconscious mind is very active during dreams, and dreaming has been thought of as a direct link to our subconscious minds.

Sometimes it can be discouraging when you cannot remember your dreams, but be patient and keep at it,and you will get results in some form or another!

Dream Dictionary - Interpret your dreams!

Ever play the word association game, where one person says a word, and another says the word that theyimmediately think of when the first word is spoken? Dreams are built of the same associations, builtindividually from your life and life experiences. Our deepest thoughts, emotions, and conflicts expressthemselves through free association from the imagery of our lives. Books and others interpreting your

Page 12: Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

dreams are very rarely accurate. Seldom-to-never does a book or other person understand the depth of thesymbols and metaphors that appear in our dreams?

To unravel your dreams, you can build a personal dream dictionary. You may already have the beginnings of one if you keep a dream journal. All you need for a dream dictionary is a place to keep itthat you can find things in quickly. A text file on your computer is excellent for this, as you canalphabetize it, and add things to entries as you gain more knowledge of a particular symbol.

To keep a dream dictionary, analyze particular components of your dreams (you may want to referenceyour dream journal), and what they mean to you, and in what context they were used in your dream. A

particular association may have many expressions within your dreams based upon context. Try to be asspecific as possible. If you think you have an idea of what a particular symbol means, keep track of that, and see if in future dreams it makes sense.

Symbols in our dreams are present everywhere: the color of the sky, the people that appear locations thatare visited, and activities that occur. Everything in your dreams is a symbol of something else, and if figured out, can give us a greater understanding of ourselves, and what moves us in our daily lives.

After some time, you will have quite a decent sized dream dictionary that is completely yours. You mayfind with your dictionary that you come to understand yourself in ways you did not perceive before, andthrough that understanding, transform yourself.

Autm, Shu, Tefnut, Get, Nut, Asar, Auset, Set, Neb-Het, Horakhty, Her-Heru, Khepri, Mont, theLord of Thebes, Amun, the Lord of the thrones of the two lands, the great Ennead, the lesser Ennead, the Neteru who are in the primordial water, Sobek of Crocodilopolis, Sobek in all hismany names, in every place of his where his soul desires to be; the southern gods and thenorthern gods, those who are in the sky and those who are on earth: may you give this pure

garment to the worthy spirit of [insert name here] may you grand that it be beneficial to him/her,may you removed the evil which is on him/her. As for this pure garment for [insert name here]may it be allotted to him/her forever and ever and may you remove the evil which is on him/her.

Now that we are Pure, we have to have space to practice. Neturians don't draw temporary circles; we havea stable sacred space. We literally convert a room or our entire house into a temple. First one must findthe magnetic center of the room, home or whatnot. All ritual starts and ends here.

Next we set everything in place - whether it¶s an actual Idol or a picture or the µname in medu netr¶. Thedirectional correspondences are a bit different than a lot of western associations, for example we startwith the east for fire.

For each direction, including quintessence one calls to one of the sons of Heru and welcomes them asthey place the effigy in each corner - for quintessence we are calling 'spirit'

Next is the placement of pillars or the mound of the primordial. This is how you consecrate the four corners. These things are never taken down so to speak and it is advisable to place small offeringsfrequently in each corner. Your center, or spirit, is going to be in the magnetic center.

Now that we have established the µsupport¶ of our temple next we µmake¶ it µfunctional¶. For this I use theopening of the mouth ceremony. I have come across quite a few works containing this that can be

obtained through the occult.bz.

Finally we get to who the temple is dedicated to. In each ritual there is always going to be a break whereyou have food and drink to consume, which is good because some of these rituals can run for a long time.In the ceremony there is going to be the hymn, the litany, invocation, meditation, offering, the blessing of the offering, the revision of the offering (this is where you get to eat it) after this you can stick in thededication of the temple. If you don¶t do a dedication you will do a 'pronouncement' of the ntr. It¶s at this

point where you put in a festival action, magical working, or both. The festival usually has a drama in itor some poetry, songs if one wishes them. A reenactment of some sort, it really depends on the ntr you arededicating your temple too. There is time during the festival or the drama where you again, stop and eatand drink. When all that is over you will perform the closing ceremony.

With each ritual you will have certain tools to use even if it¶s just simple thread. Each ritual has specificsas to what instrument will be used. In both traditions I have learned from there is a stress on making thetools yourself. Of course that is unrealistic when it comes to the opening of the mouth ceremony sinceyou need a 'something like a shoe horn- piece of metal. Though I have noticed, when you do the generalonce a month ritual, you don¶t especially need any tools at all, so I have a tendency to not use any.

In general, there are scepters and amulets that can be used that are specific to the action. However theydon¶t have to be physical, as the most powerful form of 'creation' or 'magick' (hekau) is medu netr. So if aritual calls for an amulet you don't have or canoptic jars you can write the medu neter on a piece of paper and use that as an effigy. I usually burn it as an offering when I am done. Everything in the kemeticsystem is symbolic; tying one shadow world to the next, there was never any separation so using the

medu netr on paper is the same as having the actual object.

There are certain things that a priest will carry. One is called a situal - this is like a thermos to carry liquidor incense for offerings. It is mostly associated with Auset and Het-Her as it represents a womb. Peopleare most familiar with the sistrum which is a scepter specific to Het-her. It¶s symbolic nature coincideswith the creation of harmony in the divine. It is rather used like bells or chingas as warding away of negative spirits and can be rung throughout a ceremony. The Nekheka is a flail, but with loose streamersunlike a whip which would have leather strips. It is to be held in the right hand and represents the creativemanifestation as it was originally a farming tool used to separate grain from chaff. This is representativeof justice and well being.

The Ankh - probably the most viewed symbol of kemet. This is LIFE. When used in ceremony it willrepresent the life force of said deity who is thought to possess it. It is held in the right hand. It infuses thentr's vitality upon the person who is holding it or touching someone with it.The Djeset - made out of flint - knife- a symbol of the fire of purification. This of course is a tell tale thatit is sacred to Sekhmet, the Red Goddess. Though it seems like most modern practices have forgotten, theTemples of Sekhmet were dedicated towards healing where surgeries are performed, as her priests werethe only ones allowed to shed blood.

Heka - this is the crook. Usually you see the per aah /nesubity (pharoah) holding it, crook and flailtogether. The crook is representative of the shepherds staff and represents the concept of Ma'at. As he

who is justified always walks with Ma'at. This is carried in the left hand and shows the manifestation of wisdom awakened in the carrier.Uas - it is one of those long walking sticks you see and is only carried by sekhmet and male ntr in their left hand. It represents the powers of Ptah.

In general you are always going to want to have an offering tray, a bowl and fresh water.

Personal Meditation Practice and Herbal AnchorsBy: Cerridwen

³M editation is the practice of quieting stresses to the mind by use of sitting and breathing techniques.´--Wikipedia

To be truthful, I don¶t believe you can learn everything there is to learn about the occult just by readingabout it. You have to experience it.

So, just because you read about positive thinking from a book, or hear it on tape, or watch a video on it,doesn¶t mean your life is going to instantly be more positive. Neither will it happen if you simply say a

phrase, or wave your hand. You have to invest more of yourself in what you want out of life than that. Now I¶m not saying it¶s all that hard to do, but nothing in this world is for free.

When you watch, read or hear these lessons on positive thinking (or whatever else you may be trying tolearn, I will use positive thinking as an example), it means you have given yourself the knowledge tomake changes in your life, to make it more positive. Now, you can be that positive influence in your life! But nothing comes without a price-- faith and hard work!

So how does one become positive? You have to be able to push aside all the troubles, worries, anger, guiltor regrets you are feeling. You have to bring yourself into focus, so you can know for certain what it isyou want to accomplish in your life. One way to make this happen is by meditation. It is a great way tofocus your energy, and to clear your mind of anything but what you want, by removing the mental wallsand other obstacles from the equation. I try to keep my rituals as simple as I try to keep my life. I don¶t

believe that preparing for or performing rituals needs to be complicated to be effective, but I do believethat sometimes routines can help you bring about the mindset you want to be in to perform certain ritualssuccessfully.

Meditation is one of those routines. This may take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours for some people. Don¶t worry; there really is no one over your shoulder to tell you you¶re doing it wrong. This is aroutine that is able to be tailored to the person performing it. I work with herbs a lot in my practice; this isreflected in my personal meditation routine I will share with you. The associations of certain scents helpto bring me to a meditative state.

I start my entire journey off with a hot, cleansing shower (or bath, whichever you prefer!). I try to usesomething with a clean, uplifting scent such as mint, or maybe lavender. Fruit scents are heavy, anddistracting, and the scents change over the course of a couple hours. Clean herbal scents change less; theytend to simply fade a little, so that you notice it less and less. You don¶t want anything that is toodistracting, but you will want something that stimulates your senses, and will clear away any other smellsyou may have stored from your day (or night).

While you are physically cleaning your body, picture yourself cleaning your spirit self as well. Imaginethat you are washing away anger, guilt, regrets and any sadness you may be feeling. Feel it all just washaway with the soap and water. Take deep, cleansing breaths, while trying to blank your mind of any extraemotions.

After you are done, find a blanket or rug you can sit or lie back on comfortably. There is no specific placeyou have to pick for meditation, but it is in my opinion better to be outside, away from all electronic

Page 17: Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

distractions, and closer to the balance of nature. You can, but don¶t have to, use music as an aide. Cd's,mp3's/mp4's...... you may find them in stores, but I have had better luck finding soundtracks on theinternet. There are all sorts of tracks specifically for meditating. It is not recommended that you start off with normal music, as lyrics are pure distractions. When you are more comfortable with your techniques, you may find it easy to integrate your music styles into the routine, but to start with, you will wantsomething that will not pose any great distraction.

Next, I will purify the area I have chosen, to dissolve any negative energy, and to prepare for my circle. Iuse a smudge stick for this, made of lavender or sage, or a combination of the two, to your liking. Walk widdershins, or counterclockwise, nine times, requesting the aide of the powers of the four corners, whiledrawing a pentagram in the air with your smudge stick at each corner. Now you may light a stick of incense, or not, if you choose. Try to place it away from your chosen place, so as to not pose a burnhazard or other sort of nuisance. I recommend that you place it to the rear of your seat, so as to not be inyour face.

When you have everything ready, sit with your legs crossed, in your circle. If you have trouble sitting for extended periods, feel free to relax in a more prone position. What matters is that you find a comfortable

position, so you may focus on relaxing your body. Close your eyes. Starting with your toes, slowly relax

the muscles in your feet, one group at a time. When you feel that each muscle has fully relaxed, move upto the next muscle group. This may take a while for some people; we often stay tense all the time.

As you slowly work your way up your body, pay attention to your breathing. After you have done this for a while, you may find that you may not need to pay such close attention to how you breathe. It can

become like a muscle memory, and you will automatically start to do these things naturally, withoutthinking them. But for now, pay close attention.

With each deep inhale, feel yourself connect with the world around you, connecting to the energyemanating from the earth, the energy that keeps everything in balance. With each inhale, breathe in thecalm, breathe in the peaceful quiet. Take in with each breath the completely neutral yet lively energy thatsurrounds us, even when we don¶t notice it.

And with each slow exhale, push out all of the thoughts and worries or troubles. These negative anddraining energies need to be pushed out with each breath into the ground. Let the earth be a conduit for your energy. As above, so below. You send energy out, the earth also sends energy, and all it¶s waiting onis for you to take it in.

After you have been breathing for a while, start picturing a flame- a single, small flame, one that you willsee on a short white taper candle. Focus on nothing but your breathing, and the flame. Wipe any wordsand thoughts from your mind, but don¶t lose the flame or breathing technique. Don¶t focus on the thoughtof wiping words, it will only aggravate you. That is why you must focus on the flame so much that you

begin to feel a part of the flame itself, doing this will help to clear your mind. I know that this is thehardest part for anyone I¶ve ever spoken with about meditation. Don¶t worry if you don¶t get it all the way

your first try- after all, the monks in Tibet have been meditating all their lives to achieve the correct stateof consciousness.

When you have been doing all of this for a while, you should start to feel calm and collected. You shouldfeel yourself in balance with your surroundings. When you have reached that state of calm, that you feelsure of yourself and your purpose, you may do one of two things- you may end your meditation, put outyour incense, dismiss the corners and break your circle. Or you may want to follow with a ritual or spell,if you have all your ingredients prepared beforehand.

The Finding of a Temple and The VoidBy: Rev. Billy F. Sasquatch,KSC

It sits high in a plateau that is only 5-10 feet wider than the temple it¶s self. It is not a long walk up thespiral stairs that have been carved into the rock side, just long enough to help strengthen the mind as itstarts to wander away, the stairs are recessed enough into the rock that there is a sort of natural wall alittle over waist height to protect the traveler from falling due to the winds; I run my right hand over thesmooth stone during my accent.

Looking to the right; away from the smooth rock I looked out to see over forested area, the dark sky calmand semi cloudy with a hint of purple to it. Eventually I make it to the top, to stop and stare dumbstruck with awe at the marble masterpiece before me. I move the cowl of the soft onyx black robe a little awayfrom my eyes to fully take in what is before me; my staff in my left hand starts to hum internally. The temple is round and of Greek design, and yet right where the stairs level off I remember quite clearlya Victorian style black iron fence around seven feet high set right on the edge of the drop off; it had

spikes on topping it, and the gate opened and closed right at the top of the stairs« but after closing it behind me it vanishes.

I stand with the perimeter of the now gone fence a foot behind me, the temple steps still 6 or 7 feet infront of me. I hold my staff in both hands and pull from it to strengthen myself from slipping back intomy body on the couch before walking up to the door. I notice the pillars have minutely detailed geometriccravings lightly etched into them; the double wooden door has them also, but strangely no handles of anytype. I push the right one open and step inside, out of the wind; pushing a locking bar down over thedoors behind me.

The interior I couldn¶t say how big it was, but it is a round temple, and the curvature of the wall makesme guess at around 50 feet wide. The floor is set into the ground a little; two steps separate the stone fromsmooth white marble flooring. I leave the sandals by the door and enjoy the cool touch of stone on my

bare feet. In the center of the room is a pedestal, and on top it sits a large round black ball, most likelymade of glass.

Around it sits four cushioned pray seats like the type my grandma¶s church had to better let people sit ontheir knees to get communion in the front of the church, there red and are at angle so one can walk up andsimply kneel. In a circle 5 feet out is a channel made of black stone, my feeling is that this is to hold saltand is a boundary marker for circle casting. At 10 feet out there is a circle of pillar candles set in recesseswith enough space to walk through without catching the flame on a robe.

I go to the pillar and kneel, placing my hands on the smooth and shiny ball. At once I feel surging energyin this ball and immediately understand why this is at the very center of the temple, it brings everythingaround me into focus, my shields burst into bright healthy flames, and I feel the sensation of my energycoming out of my fingertips in tendrils into the orb. I lose conscious connection to myself back on thecouch; I am fully ³in´ the temple.

Page 23: Infinity Network Ezine Issue 2 Fall 2010

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/infinity-network-ezine-issue-2-fall-2010 23/38

My staff found itself a hole built into the floor to the left of the pedestal, and I stand to explore mysurroundings. Against the wall are tables and book shelves, ready to hold anything I might need, and onlyone bookshelf has books on it, and running my hands over the leather bindings I get the feeling that if Iwas to open them they would be blank. I pull a small black one out and realize it is my BOS before

putting it back. The smell of incense is in the air, looking up the ceiling above me is glass.

I continue to walk and look down to see Brother Coyote walking beside me and my heart shines withhappiness as I greet him for the first time in awhile. He calls me by my older name. I tell him that I have anew name and he replies with a simple ³so?´ I grin as he tells me he¶s been with me the whole time, justhiding, and ask me why in the hell I couldn¶t realize that. I ask him about AnAyah and why I haven¶theard from her in weeks and he replies ³well, look to your right and ask her yourself´ I look over and sheis walking a little behind me, then I am treated to the sound of both of them laughing; I join in, realizing

just how blind I can truly be at times.

We come to three dark red leather chairs that are in front of a small coffee table. I take the middle seat,AnAyah the seat to my left, and Brother Coyote hops up into the one to my right. She is wearing a simple

black dress that borders on indigo, the cowl of my robe blocking her face from my view. I look to thecenter of the room, my eyes drawn to the orb and ask her why I haven¶t seen her face.Instead of her telling me he same thing she did the first time I asked awhile ago, which was that she couldhave many faces as she chose fit, she leans forward and kisses my cheek, saying ³ if you want to see myface then look .´ I lower the cowl and look over to see nothing; she has no face, just an empty hole whereit would have been.

I stand up and so does she, ³this is the face of the void´ she says. I place both hands on the side of her face, and stare into the depths as one might stare into a scrying mirror, her hands reach up and cover mine, the temple starts to fade away and I realize I am about to enter the void. She simply says ³yes´ to

my unspoken question of entrance and suddenly I am falling into nothingness.

The Void and Communing with AnAyah³I am who will take you from this place in the end, I will hold your hand as you descend into oblivion.

And while nothing lasts forever; even though your energy will eventually be woven back into the fold as something new, µyou¶ will cease to exist as you exist now, and when you do go my embrace will be your final experience. Long after everything has forgotten you, you will be mine. We will dance together in mymemory, everlasting«So gaze again; it W I LL hurt, longer than you will ever know, and in ways you will never fully understand. You are not meant to enjoy me. And it saddens me that you try.´

-AnAyah, Face of the Faceless, Patron Saint of the Void.

It¶s big and dark and full of completely fucking crazy shit.

Where you expecting something more? Well allow me to pop that bubble right here and now. It¶s theVOID, and it¶s full of things that only make sense when you¶re lost in it. You bring something back hereit becomes something entirely different and blows your goddess-damned hand off

The Void is a faceless, alien thing, one that will twist your shit all up and then break it the fuck off. As best as I can figure, it is a place that old energy goes to die and be remade for the next showing; our reality was most likely cobbled together there from what was left over after the last one imploded (or whatever realities do)

I would suggest that you just avoid it (har har har), but I was told the same thing, and I still drank the sodathat makes you float. (Insert enlightened shrug here)

So if it still interests you to explore a place we are probably not meant to understand or cope with ashumans, try invoking and communing with AnAyah, embodiment of infinite nothing.

However, it can be said that she is a trickster, and I would suggest not taking anything that comes fromher at face value, she is not your friend, she owes you nothing, and serves only herself.

Her sigil is (below), and after that all you need is a dark room, space to cast a circle, and a sharp knife(yep you¶re going to have to give up some blood for this one)

Invoking AnAyah

Wall of SmokeBy: Just

There are moments when the thoughts of tomorrow consume me with the waking now. And in this trap of forward thinking I easily lose today. All that is, is what is right now and forever a million times over. The

future holds us no promise of existence. We are only who we are in this moment. So who are you or whoam I in this eternal fraction of eternity? Who do we see and who do we project? What do we commandand what do we fear? The conceptual consideration of the almost unfathomable enigma of true infinite

possibility could in fact, with conscious application, drive a person into insanity, power or both.

The blinding lights swirl within the shadows of my fingertips, almost there to be realized almost there to be touched, yet like a moment, fades away in the blink of an eye. My mind cannot comprehend my feebleheart and hates it so, my heart is disgusted with the coldness of my mind. And in the middle, in the

balance, hangs simple paradox of what is me. I feel like I¶ve been shattered into a million tiny shards of reflection, each one a different facet of self that I can pick up individually and examine, get to know and

place back inside the vessel that confines me in a manner I so choose. There is no more being the me Iwas yesterday or even a minute ago. Though I can¶t seem to find any true connection to anyone at thesame time I am connected to all and this comforts the dying and growing child in me. The thought of allinevitably brings me back to myself. And once again the journey can be begun.

All thoughts we have are true, all emotions and reactions we have are the reflections of our understandingof self. When we rationalize these reactions, thoughts and emotions we are once again not in the wakingnow. The intensity of being is lost and often we will try to justify or negate our primal reactions. ³Ishouldn¶t feel this way because´ or ³I¶m overreacting´. To me this is an injustice against not onlyyourself but the entire world with which you interact. Rather than argue with the reactive, primal, non-yielding aspect of that which you are, my suggestion is get to know him or her. There have been many

books and writings on meeting your darker half. This is not one of them. I suggest ALL reactions beexamined with no predisposed notion of good or bad.

Feel the current of your surroundings and see the pattern in your response to that current. When youidentify a recurring theme, perhaps it is a good time to say hello. Do you react with anger? How is thisgood or bad? Can you see that anger can consume but also fuel? Do you react with patience or love? Canyou see that patience and love can nurture others but sometimes destroy parts of you? There is no polarityin reaction and response, simply the raw cause and effect. Understanding the facets of your raw nature, their potential to power and drain, at least for me is liberating. No explanation is needed, I am justified asI am Just, simply, me. The viewing of facets and understanding of effect is not simply for knowledge. Tome it is a form of ultimate power, for now you can work to truly shape your reactions, which are in

essence the projection of you onto the world. Shape this projection, not based upon the imposedrighteousness of outside ideologies, but rather with examination of your own ever-changing, self imposedmorals and ideology. Malleable as you progress through experience, rewritable as need be or seen fit, noapologies required or valid. Take your shards of reflection and put you together in the image of your owngod, yourself.

The Wall of Smoke Mediation

Sitting in a dark room activates the imagination, when I was younger I remember seeing clothes on chair turn to a person, or shadows on the wall would tell me stories. It¶s almost as if the lack of light allows youto free parts of your psyche that stays hidden under harsh judging light. Maybe not, but that¶s my take onit. So only seems right to start this mediation in a dark room. Sit someplace comfortable in front of amirror, I find a full length mirror works best as once you enter the state of greeting your raw nature, theremay be body language changes and gestures that you can gleam more meaning from. However if this isnot possible as long as you can see your entire face you will have good results. I have not tried thisstanding in a bathroom mirror, although I suppose if you can relax and induce a trance state easily whilestanding then it would probably work. I should actually try that, not using the chair as a crutch, but I findit easier to reach the greeting in a seated position. Whilst sitting light at your feet an incense of your choice. If you have one you like to use for meditation or invocation using that would probably be a goodchoice as you already associate it with magical workings. I personally typically burn lavender, whitewillow and white sage on a charcoal tablet. It creates a good amount of smoke and I like the smell. At onetime I chose these for traditionally associated properties, but honestly I forget and think it matters little at

this point. This combo smells like magic to me now.

Once you have your wall of smoke forming between the mirror self and physical self light a candle nextto the incense to cast a minimal light. I typically use two tea lights as it seems to be light enough to seemy face but not too much to illuminate the room. Plus I like the synchronicity, two me¶s two lights. Now

bathe the room in darkness and begin to relax your body into a trance like state. There are multiplemethods of doing this, I personally start with slow deep breathing and purposeful muscle tensioning andrelaxation; Tensing all my muscles at once on the intake of breath and relaxing slowly with the breathingout. Once I get to a point where tensing seems difficult I simply allow myself melt physically and I knowI¶m almost there. Keep eye contact with your reflection throughout this.

Now the fun begins, once you reach your magical state focus on the quality or raw reaction you want tomeet. This is typically amplified by use of a mantra or for me incoherent whispers in a non sequentiallanguage. I am speaking the language of the all, where the words do not convey the meaning but the pitchand sound and pace do. I have on occasion written a mantra or invocation of self, it really depends how Ifeel. But you knows you, so long as your mind is intent on the greeting of you, the words matter not.

Break through the wall of smoke and greet yourself. This will start with random thoughts or perspectivesand as the connection and intensity grows you will see the you in the mirror start to respond. I talk to her,she will argue and conversate with me. I tell her, ³but I do this because I love this person´, she will tellme ³Fool, do you not see how love has corrupted your ideals?´ and we will go back and forth. We are

both right. No one will win. I end the greeting by thanking me for talking to me straight. I kill the candles

and sit in silence and darkness processing what I¶ve learned. I decide there, now that I have met the rawside of me, how I want to be. I have seen the truth in my strength and weakness, now I can begin work to

break down what I am right now to evolve truly from trapped to realized.

Projected InsanityBy: Suzanne Dome

People say that first meetings tell you a lot about a person, often those people later wonder why theymisread a person¶s intentions. Take my ex for example. My first impression of him was that he paid his

bills, stayed employed and accepted responsibility. This couldn¶t be further from the truth.

Absolutely fabulous, darling

Something I commonly hear discussed by witches and other and serious practitioners is the glamour. ³Anair of compelling charm, romance, and excitement, especially when delusively alluring. Archaic: A magicspell; enchantment.´ This is the description in American Heritage Dictionary.

³Glamour´ in the realistic sense is a purposeful deception by a charming and attractive individual. Inmagick it is pretty much the same thing²one puts on an air of sophistication or sex appeal to produce thedesired social result. It is commonly regarded as magick, but can be readily explained psychologicallyand biologically. We all know that we feel different when we put on that one pair of heels, or thatexpensive cologne, or drive that hot car. I know I feel sexier driving the Pontiac than I ever did drivingthe Buick. The object or mental identity changes your smile, changes the way you express yourself, thevocabulary you use, the clothes you choose, and this in turn creates a different perspective of you as seen

by your peers. Your internal endorphin levels determine how relaxed and happy you are perceived to be,and most people don¶t even realize they are reading these little chemical and body-language signs. It¶swell understood that thought sometimes needs help in the forms of clothes, makeup, demeanor, etc, asglamour¶s are pretty much external expressions of an internal idea. Have fun one day and dressdifferently than normal, and see the perceptions change.

Shields with Attitude

One of the first things I learned from the initial Wicca group with whom I attended circles was how toshield myself from other¶s cruel intentions. They taught me to visualize something around me that would

prevent things I didn¶t want, such as sickness or jealousy, from getting in.

I like the bubble idea. I like the idea of a bug-zapper effect even more. Instead of simply blocking anentity from bothering me, I zapped it with a dose of my own attitude. In college, I would alter this visualagain, and see myself carrying a bubble with sharp three foot spines«and watch passing students go outof their way to avoid coming within ten feet of me. Using this visual I projected the idea or the littletriggers that made other people subconsciously steer clear. Wearing a knife helps with this sort of shield,it seems to reinforce the sense of spiny protection.

My current shield says: bring it on; I disallow you to bother me. Some people don¶t realize that they canstop a lot of entities from causing them harm by simply disallowing them to have power in their ownminds. It drives me nuts when someone comes whining to me about the spirit attached to them that won¶tleave them alone. In many cases, these people aren¶t assertive enough to think that ³it can only bother me

if I let it.´ Kind-of like mosquitoes²they won¶t bother you if you wear thirty percent DEET bug spraylike the hunters do, or use citrus oil and long sleeves. You have to want it to go away.Manifest Destiny? What?

Short and sweet, I have observed that there are so many people pushing their ideas on the circuit that they

collide with each other in horrible nasty wrecks, and what one thought they wanted to happen, ends upgoing a totally different direction. There are so many people all putting their subconscious thoughts anddesires out there, that I think that creating your own pre-determined destiny is a ridiculous dream. Whenit comes down to it, the only thing you can really control is your own thoughts²sure, you can influenceothers for a while, but eventually they wake up and break free. I think that Hitler really did think hewould control the world, and enough people fought his mental control by going to physical war with him;in the end, current written history says he destroyed himself when he realized he had lost the battle. Thatis NOT the direction he wanted to go in, or projected. It¶s the direction he took as a result of conflictingworld projections.

So the collective consciousness, if it exists, becomes clogged with conflicting wants, feelings and projected desires. I wanted to leave, and my desire to leave overpowered the ex¶s desire for me to staywith him²which sent him in a direction completely out of his field of internal vision, and sent me muchcloser to what I wanted for myself.

Does the pretzel logic of destiny make sense yet?

Hand Signals

When I studied with the Wiccans I was also studying Chakras for the benefit of my health. One of thethings one learns is that in everyone¶s hands are minor chakras, not of the main seven but important for

magickal activities. It is often written, and I have seen this in several books so I will not quote one in particular, that the right hand projects and the left receives. The Wiccan High-priestess actually said thesame thing and various people supported that information. Now, in further study of related fields, suchas biology, ayerveda, psychology and auras, it could and should be assumed that your dominant side isthe side that projects, and your other side is the one that is receptive.

So, when performing a ritual that asks for a projection of energy with the visual of healing, I would usemy right hand to push the energy toward the intended target. Should I be trying to remove something, Ishould use my left, but I often do not. I often use my dominant hand for everything I should use the lefthand for, such as feeling, seeing, etc, and sometimes for really strong pushing of energy. Many times, Iuse the left for healing.

Psychologically, it is all in our heads, so it doesn¶t really matter. Telling someone one side is receptivewhile the other is projective is akin to telling boys to be tough and girls to be sensitive²it¶s all socialtraining. People need to feel they mutually understand each other, which is one reason organized religionis so ridiculously popular. WE make it up as we go. Sometimes we feel with both hands, heal with both, and push with both. What does it matter, as long as you accomplish what you set out to do?

To be or not to be

We all know what we want and what we get are two different things, most of the time. We also know thatif we are caught not telling the truth about why we are doing something, there is typically a riot, large or small²i.e. Clinton¶s hiring of Monica, or my ex¶s spending habits. Using projected ideas to manipulate

tends to backfire eventually, and it goes back to what I said about the collective consciousnesssuperhighway accident rate.

³Karma is a bigger bitch than I¶ll ever be.´ I sometimes see on bumper stickers, and have employed thatidea often myself. Our intent inside is a bigger measure of the success of the projection than our external

presentation of the intent. Can we be honest with ourselves and admit that we are only buying thesignificant other that watch because we want nookie later, and not because we care about their birthday? Can we be honest and say we hired him/her for their pleasing appearance and not because of their customer service skills? Can we be honest and admit that we did that truth or justice spell to hurtsomeone instead of reveal what is actually happening?

Can we simply be honest?

TEVATRON

He speaks in all tongues at the same time, he has no voice His center is an eye that eats the mouth that tastes the world

His rings move like a coin dropped, in different directions, they are made of metal tongues that extendand feed on the thoughts

Outer ring, the thoughts of the world, the tongues taste and feed these to middle ring, which tastes thethoughts that you know which feed the center ring which taste the thoughts you have but cannot capture.

They all feed the eye that eats the mouth that tastes the world.

The mouth has many teeth in many rows and tongues; they extend to find the most promising of thoughtsto feed his processes of creation.

He eats not to consume but to digest. His 4 arms pulsate with the energy of thought, projecting it onto theworld.

He makes the intangible tangible.

The Looking Glass Tarot LayoutDeveloped By Laureth and Amy

The Looking Glass layout was developed based on a traditional three card layout, including a draw for past, present and future aspects of a situation. This is a linked layout developed specifically for two

separate readers to do in unison, each reader taking a different perspective of the reading. One reader willread for the ³Action´ side of the question; action representing outside forces, environment, andmanifestation of will, both the querents and opposing influences. The other reader draws on the emotionalside of the situation. Reflecting the inner state of the querent that lead to the correlative action, theemotional crescendos reached in the past, present and future of the layout. Although based on a three cardlayout reading, four cards are drawn. The past and present are both single card draws, the outcomehowever, is a two card draw. In the sequence the third card is the cause for outcome, or the catalyst thatleads to the predicted answer. This serves as a guide to what state, being it internal or external, can changethe current present of the situation. The future is not set it is fluid and changeable. Having the cause of outcome is a useful tool as it can be a marker as to how to bring forth or change the predicted future.

Linking between readers is an important part of this reading, through the looking glass of sight the link ismade so the emotional aspects will reflect the action aspects and visa-versa. The synchronicity of thereading is shown in these reflections. Good linking methods to employ are things like direct energylinking, synchronized music listened to by both parties, beginning shuffling the cards at the same time, focus on the issue at hand. When doing tarot I first get myself in a state of gnosis and visualize activatingthe chakras with focus on the throat charka for communication, the third eye for sight and the crown for infinite divine intelligence. You can play with different linking methods to strengthen the link betweenreaders, but we have found that simply focusing on the issue and small tangible synchronizations areeffective such as music etc. This layout can be used by any two tarot readers. If you can tap into thedivination current, then you are good to go, both readers focusing on the situation will be a link all on its

own.
