(ship owners/ship managers) of MIE Group.

of the cases the Genuine & OEM makers, the use of own service engineers and our own
stock of important spare parts ensure:

For every quote for equipment & spares, the following terminology is used:
GENUINE/OEM – Original Equipment Manufacturer
- The supplier of the assembled machine to the ship (genuine spares)
- The supplier of a self-contained sub component to the Primary OEM
(i.e. the Turbocharger, Cooler, Pump etc)
OPM – Original Parts Manufacturer
A company which supplied components or minor sub components to one of the above,
and the source can be traced
EPM – Equivalent Parts Manufacturer
A company which manufactures equivalent sub components or parts (to those used
by the OEM) but which are not custom made for the OEM and
a) perform a fully equivalent task
b) are made to an ISO (or national equivalent) standards

Chinese Main & Auxy EnginesThrough a sales/distribution agreement between the CSSC Group
(China State Shipbuilding Corporation) and Fameline Group, VMS provides
full-range of OEM/Genuine parts for all engines across V.Ships Group,
which were built by the CSSC engine makers.

Ecochlor BALLAST WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM: FUTURE PROOF
Future Proof definition: Future Proof describes the process of trying
to anticipate future developments, so proper actions can be taken today.
Ecochlor, Inc., founded in 2001 in USA, has developed proprietary ballast water treatment
systems that have been specifically designed to safely and economically eliminate the
worldwide transfer of aquatic invasive species.
The system includes a filtration step followed
by the injection of a dilute solution of chlorine
dioxide. The filters are located in close
proximity to the ballast water pumps but
the chlorine dioxide generation module can
be located in any convenient location on
board the vessel.�

Our experienced IT & Network Engineers are familiar with all satcom terminals from Inmarsat
and Iridium and are able to assist in every installation, service and maintenance of our
customer’s satcom HW and SW.
COMMUNICATION
Our Engineers are certified, well trained and experienced to install, calibrate and maintain the
ODME, bilge alarms 15PPM, Oil Mist Detectors and Oil Water Separators (OWS), survey, repair and
retrofit anodes, ICCP and ICAF systems. We also plan, design, install and commission BWTS.
ENVIRONMENTAL
We provide propulsion services such as bonding of the stern tube seals, bow thruster seals, liner alignment.
PROPULSION
We can provide turnkey solutions (equipment and installation) and we have spare parts available in most of our warehouses worldwide. Our services include maintenance & service for radars, gyrocompass,AIS, autopilots, echo sounders, speed logs, anemometers, GPS, ECDIS and e-charts.
