WESLEYANAPRIL 2007

God spoke to my heart and showed me a vision

He said, “Whose side are you on, my son.”

“Lord, you know that I love you!” I replied.

He said, “What about those souls on the other side?

What about your neighbor who just passed away

Crying out your name from the other side today?”

“While I lived just down at the end of your street,

On the corner in the house with the yard always neat.”

His eyes by now were filled with sobs and tears

In hell, he remembers the days, weeks and years

You drove right by him, even honked, as he waved.

All the while knowing that he was not saved.

He has now joined with the suffering throng

Those poor souls who to Satan now belong

Don’t wait in silence for more people to die

And hear them call out your name and ask “why?”

Tell all your friends and those ’round about

Don’t hide behind excuses, fears and doubts.

Don’t let one more to the other side go.

Speak the truth in love and to them Jesus show!

Steven attends the Orleans Wesleyan Church.
