We will be holding our last Saturday Open Morning for Prospective Parents for the academic year on Saturday 3rd March.

Saturday Open Mornings are hugely important events for the school and having the whole school community here means that we can give prospective parents a really good understanding of Yateley Manor’s unique ethos and culture.

With this in mind, we are again requesting that all children from Year 2 to Year 8 attend the Open Morning. Year 1 children are also invited to attend and we would be delighted to see as many of them as possible. A letter regarding the Open Morning will be sent home next week.

We are very grateful to our children and parents for their support with our Open Morning.

There were some dramatic tales as he explained how, on a number of occasions, he had had to land his plane without the wheels down and he had begun to get quite good at doing ‘belly flops’, although it did tend to destroy the planes!

It was a really wonderful start to the topic and the children were very lucky to be able to hear a first-hand account from the Second World War.
