Marjorie Carol Ruetten was born on March 24, 1925, in Williston, North Dakota, to Joseph and Clara (Abelmann) Ruetten. Her family lived in Rawson, ND, and she attended grade school there until the age of 10 when she moved with her family to Williston.

Marjorie attended Williston High School, graduating with the class of 1945. Following graduation, Marjorie worked at Mercy Hospital as a surgical scrub nurse for Dr. Craven and Dr. Hagan until 1948.

Marjorie met the love of her life, Archie Wrolson, in 1947. On June 21, 1948, they were united in marriage in Williston, ND and were married for 52 years. Archie and Marjorie were blessed with three children.

Once her family was grown and on their own, she re-entered the work force and became a cook at the Williston Junior High School from 1980-1990.

Marjorie loved to read and play cards and belonged to a pinochle club which met once a week. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her loving family. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor, her kindness, hearty laugh and witty comments. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Love Circle and the VFW Auxilary.

She was ready to go home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with her true love, Archie, and other family and friends.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Linda Dragseth (Harold) and their children, Kyle (Julie) Dragseth of Williston and Doug (Jennie) Dragseth of Towner, ND, daughter, Judy Hokanson (Darrell) and their children, David (Beth) Hokanson of Williston and Amber (Matt) Ledahl of Zahl, ND; her son Mark Wrolson (Laurie) and their children, Michael (Danielle) Watson, of Santa Clarita, CA, Christina (Alex) Guerrero of Corona, CA, Christine (Jeff) Pollard of Palm Bay, Fl and Samantha (Kelly) Ham of Reno, Nev; brother, Warren Ruetten (Donna) of Glendale, AZ; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie; parents; sisters, Carol Klinke and Joan Perkins; and brother-in-law, Fred Perkins.
