There were 32 motor vehicle stops, and one report of loose cows.

Saturday, July 08, 20170212 A Glasgow female re-

ported an alarm going off that only had to be reset and every-thing was okay.

0220 A Glasgow deputy as-sisted another officer with a motor vehicle stop on a white Ford. The adult male driver blew a BAC of 0.158 and an arrest was made.

0316 A Glasgow male re-ported a guest having problems getting someone out of their room. An officer succeeded in getting the subject out of the caller’s room.

0318 A male from the front desk reported he has a fake $100 bill. An officer was notified, who will log it as evidence.

0552 A Glasgow man and his crew are doing pest control this morning at the old Valco Elevator. He will call back when they are done, which he did at 6:43 a.m.

0750 A Glasgow female ad-vised she has a guest requesting an officer. She said it was the same couple as earlier, the male had left the area with the female’s keys. An officer gave dispatch the plate information and reported that all four tires on the female caller’s car were flat. The officer reported the male was going to try to walk to Great Falls. He turned over his DL (it was sus-pended) and was going to speak with the female. The officer also returned the keys and wallet back to the female.

0922 A Glasgow female re-ported her food card missing from her purse. She also told dis-patch who she thought had taken the card. A deputy was notified, who said no one in the house had the female’s keys and all parties were extremely intoxicated.

1528 An officer assisted an-other agency.

1539 A St. Marie female called to report her cousin was scammed by a company pretending to be Apple. The scammer company hacked into the cousin’s com-puter and froze it. They displayed a message saying she needed to call the number to reach Apple help and get the problem fixed. The cousin had called the number and didn’t really understand what they were saying, so she hung up on them. They called right back and tried to get her to transfer $200 to them, which her bank wouldn’t allow to go through. The scammer company then had the caller’s cousin pay them through iTunes. Then they told her that one of their technicians messed up and put the wrong software on the computer so they wanted her to go to Glasgow’s Albertsons and transfer another $200, at which time they would pay her back the initial $200. When the caller came over to her cousin’s house to bring her to Albertsons, she called the real Apple company, who worked with them for several hours to fix the computer. The caller said her cousin printed everything that the scammers sent her. Dispatch will notify a deputy and he will speak to the caller’s cousin when he comes on shift.

1556 A deputy is out with a diesel pusher RV who just real-ized it was too tall for the under-pass. They are backing out.

1709 A deputy has picked up another deputy at St. Marie, whose neighbor said there were people having a fire at the Base Pond. When the deputies arrived, there was no fire.

1834 A Glasgow male caller who wished to remain anony-mous, reported a pit bull-looking dog in a vehicle with just the win-dows cracked. The caller advised

it was a station wagon/SUV-type vehicle with 20 county plates, but unknown balance. The vehicle had a travel rack with rooftop travel case attached. An officer checked it out and reported the windows were wide open and the dog had plenty of water.

1930 A Fort Peck female advised that someone in a newer white Chevy pickup passed them in the town of Fort Peck on a double yellow, then the same vehicle passed someone on a hill. The caller is willing to sign a complaint.

2156 A drive off in the amount of $53.19 was reported in Glas-gow. A deputy advised the ve-hicle was a silver GMC Denali headed westbound with possibly a Georgia plate.

Sunday, July 9, 20170210 An officer reported he

found a wallet in Glasgow and knows who it belongs to. It will be at the GPD office if she comes looking for it.

1010 A deputy reported that when he cleared his previous traffic stop, a subject in a maroon pickup parked behind his patrol vehicle and approached his ve-hicle. The subject reported a theft of some coolers from his camp area, namely one he purchased at Cabela’s that he paid about $500 for. A deputy is now following the vehicle to the area of Duck Creek to the location where the theft took place and left at 10:40 a.m. with a written statement.

1240 A Glasgow male report-ed seeing a woman leave her kids in the car at AgLand at Glasgow. She then went around the back of the building and hid behind the air conditioning unit for eight to 10 minutes. The caller said she got back in her vehicle and left the area headed east on Hwy. 2, going at a high rate of speed. He advised he was going around 70 mph to catch up with her by the Cottonwood. She turned north on Hwy 24 and was swerving. A couple officers were notified.

1248 A Glasgow female be-lieves she knows who stole her fan from her house. She has one, but the second one she keeps in her bedroom is gone. It has her name on it. She thinks it would be at the male’s house and was patched up with an officer.

1450 A McCone County male reported a black tarp over the side of the spillway that appeared to be a body. When GPD called McCone County dispatch, they said they had gotten a call about this, too, and suggested we get a hold of someone with the Corps of Engineers. This turned out to be nothing and there was no body in the tarp.

1754 A Hinsdale male caller reported debris on the highway between Hinsdale and Saco. A deputy was notified, who pulled away tire tread from the south side of the highway.

2244 A deputy advised a Glas-gow female had spoken to him earlier and told him there was a high volume of traffic on Jensen Trail lately. She requested an extra patrol because of this.

2330 A Hinsdale male called in to let GPD know he just shot and killed some raccoons that were in his garage. He stated his dog started going crazy, so he grabbed his pistol and rifle and went outside. About this time some baby raccoons came out of the garage and then the mother, who then charged him. He shot her twice and then she took off, but he killed three others and has one in a live trap that he says he will take out in the country to-morrow and shoot. He wanted to let us know in case anyone called in about shots being fired in Hin-sdale. No one else called.

Monday, July 10, 20170407 A Glasgow female stated

she could hear a loud popping

noise. She thought it was lighten-ing, but it wasn’t. She would like an officer to help her figure it out. At 4:21 a.m., the officer was un-able to locate anything wrong.

0739 A Hinsdale male caller reported a dead deer in the west-bound lane at Hinsdale. MDOT was notified and they will take care of it.

1026 A person from Valley Bank in Glasgow reported a theft.

1049 A Glasgow female re-quested a welfare check on her mom. She said her son and daughter-in-law live in the up-stairs apartment from her mom and a male, but the male won’t let them come in to see her mom and they haven’t been able to see her or talk to her in three or four days. When the caller tries to call her mom, the male just hangs up on her. She would like someone to check on the mom and let her know if she is okay. Dispatch patched the caller up with a deputy.

1129 A Glasgow male spoke with a deputy about a bike be-ing stolen from his bike shop on Hwy. 2. The bike is a red Next brand bike with the writing “built for speed” on it. It was taken June 30 or July 1.

1224 A Glasgow deputy re-ported to another deputy that a female was at State Probation and Parole complaining that she was being abused by a male. One deputy went to investigate and did bring the male in to the jail.

1227 A Valley County female lost her plate off her vehicle. It was a pink plate that says Women of Montana. She would like a call if it is found.

1324 A Glasgow male wanted to speak with an officer regard-ing what he considered a false report to law enforcement. He said someone sent him a picture of a newspaper article that said he was running a puppy mill and he hasn’t had any puppies for sale in months. He said no one responded to that call to his residence.

1531 A brush fire was reported in Valley County south of Glen-tana and west of Hwy 438. A caller said the fire was near the Dorothy Crandall place. Dispatch spoke with Dorothy and she said her house was not in danger, and she didn’t need utilities notified.

1541 A Glasgow woman re-ported that a dog had been in a black Jeep Commander for 45 minutes now. The dog appears to be very hot. An officer reported that the man was in the vehicle with the dog when he got there.

1748 A panic alarm was re-ceived at D&G. Someone is on scene and it turned out to be a false alarm. Everything is okay.

1753 A Glasgow female re-ported she had no power. She got her power from NW Energy. NW Energy was notified.

1755 Dispatch received a power outage at the Valley Coun-ty Detention and Dispatch Center. At 6:01 p.m., dispatch notified the Health Department.

1812 A Valley County man reported a fire about 12 miles east of the Landfill. Two women reported the same. At 5:29 p.m., a woman advised that it appeared smokey a few miles south of Van-dalia. A person working with the firemen believed it was coming from the Zortman fire. At 6:34 p.m., St. Marie FD is released from the scene. LR FD back at the Fire Hall at 7:21 p.m.

2200 A Valley County female reported a rattle snake in their campsite. By the time the deputy arrived, he was unable to locate the snake.
