Valley County Weed District 2015 Range & Pasture Vegetation Management Plan Announcement for Bid

Valley County Weed District has developed the following plan for range and pasture management of noxious weeds within the northwestern corner of Valley County. The county is accepting bids until 4:00 p.m. on April 23, 2015. The project is being administered by Valley County Weed District and Bureau of Land Management.

Bidding Details: Contractors will supply all equipment and labor necessary to control all noxious weeds within the designated site(s). The Weed District will supply the herbicide and determine the rate at which they will be applied. The contractor will bid an hourly rate and, if successful, will be awarded a detailed contract for the 2015 season. Once awarded, a meeting will be set to show sites determined by the Weed District and BLM.

On March 23, 2015, Montana-Dakota Utilities Company (MDU) filed an Application to adjust its Conservation Program Tracking Mechanism Rate 90 Tariff (Rate 90) for recovery of gas conservation program expenditures for the period March 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015, with the Montana Public Service Commission (Commission). The programs include high effi-ciency natural gas furnace, high efficiency boiler, programmable thermostat, and high efficiency hot water heater rebates, as well as residential energy assessments and a custom program. The total costs to be recovered include program expenses, lost distribution revenues, and an under collection of revenues resulting in a net balance of $49,047. MDU proposes that Rate 90 charge $0.005 per dekatherm over the next twelve-month period; this adjustment represents an increase from the current rate of zero.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGGLASGOW ZONING COMMISSIONERS

Notice is hereby given that the Glasgow City Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on April 28, 2015, beginning at 5:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers located in the Civic Center Building, 319 3rd Street South, Glasgow, MT 59230, regarding the application by Farm Equipment Sales, Inc. to alter the boundaries of the City of Glasgow by annexing the following described real property into the City of Glasgow:

One tract of land located in the SW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 7, Township 28 North, Range 40 East, M.P.M., Valley County, Montana, and more particularly described as follows: Begin-ning at the SW section corner of said Section 7, which is the true point of beginning; thence East a distance of 300.06 feet; then North a distance of 152.97 feet; then N 00D 10’ 00” W. a distance of 626.10 feet; then S 88D 21’ 50” E. a distance of 208.79 feet; then North a distance of 19.25 feet; then N. 61D 46’ 00” W. a distance of 575.40 feet; then South a distance of 1064.26 feet to the true point of beginning. Plat filed March 24, 1994, at 3:30 P.M., Misc. File No. 22676, Doc. No. 93956. Excepting there from lands conveyed to the Montana Department of Transportation and more particularly described on Doc. No. 147088 recorded May 24, 2012.

Said tract contains approximately 7.10 acres. The property is presently un-zoned and is occupied by Farm Equipment Sales, Inc. The adjoining tract is located on the south side of Highway 2, east of and adjacent to the Farm Equipment Sales, Inc. building.
