Class: Junior Infants Week beginning: 3rd June 2020
Hello Girls,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather we have been having. This week you will be collecting your books from school on Friday the
5th of June. In your bag you will find all of your books, extra clothes you brought to school, pieces of Art and a little gift from me. Two
books are completely empty, your handwriting book and your math copy. We usually leave these books to the final term of school as they
are used to revise what you have learned during the entire school year.

Some activities I will not be collecting, however for others I will be asking you to email me some of your learning where possible- these

Weekly Poem : The Farm Hail Mary Morning Prayer Night Prayer
Chickens, lambs, piglets too
Donkeys, horses, cows that moo
Fish that swim down in the pond
Ducklings quacking all day long
All these things you can see
If you go to the farm with me
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Father in heaven, you love me,
You’re with me night and day.
I want to love you always,
In all I do and say.
I’ll try to please you Father.
Bless me through the day.
Amen.
God our Father, I come to say
Thank you for your love today.
Thank you for my family,
And all the friends you give to
me.
Guard me in the dark of night,
And in the morning send your
light. Amen.

Please feel free to use any other internet resources you are aware of. I will update you with additional resources as the weeks go on. I am
conscious of parents becoming overwhelmed with the vast amount of resources that are available, so keep it simple using the above links
for now. The most important thing is to share experiences with your child that are fun, engaging, easy and suit your family’s lifestyle, you
do not need internet sites to achieve this. You are doing a great job already! Please feel free to amend the plan above to suit your home
life.
