The IEEE International conference on “Power Electronics, Smart Grid and Renewable Energy (PESGRE 2020)” is a new biennial conference organized by IEEE IA/IE/PEL Jt. Chapter Kerala. The conference is sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications society, Power Electronics Society, and IEEE Kerala section. The theme of the conference is “Power Electronics and renewable energy for sustainable development” and will be held on 2-4 January 2020 at Le Meridien Cochin, Kerala, India. The Conference focuses on the latest technologies, strategies and challenges that are faced by power Electronics systems, Electric Drives, Renewable Energy resources and the interconnection to modern power systems and the operation in the smart grid environment for a better, smarter and more environ-ment-friendly Power System. The goal of PESGRE is to provide a platform for Conference, Exhibition and Tutorials on selected topics of contemporary interest. The conference provides a unique forum for the exchange of knowledge and information among the professionals across the globe. The Oral and Poster Sessions of the conference will highlight the latest research and development efforts.
Technical papers are solicited on the subjects pertaining to the scope of the conference that includes, but not limited to the following major topics:

About IEEE PESGRE 2020
Call for Papers:
For a paper to be included in the conference proceedings and IEEE XPlore, at least one of the authors must register for full registration and the paper should be presented by one of the authors. All accepted and presented papers will be archived in IEEE Xplore Digital Library and will be indexed in web of sciences, Scopus etc.
Journal Publication : All presented papers are eligible for submission to IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications subject to further review of the journal.

Additional Paper Publication : In the case of a second paper by the same author, there will be 50% discount in the registration fees for the second paper. Further, one of the co-authors will be offered free registration to attend the conference.
Concession for IEEE Members : All IEEE members including students are eligible for nearly 20% discount in the conference registration fees and in the tutorial Fees
Page Limit : The normal page limit is 6 pages. Additional pages up to 8 pages are allowable against additional payment.
Pre-conference tutorials : Pre-conference tutorials will be held on 2 Jan 2020 by eminent personalities in areas of current interest.
Plenary Talks : For the benefit of the delegates of the Conference, plenary Talks by well-known experts will be organized on 3rd and 4th Jan 2020.
Young Professional Program (YPP) : There will be IEEE young professional program of IAS and PELS societies which include workshops and invited talks for student members and recently graduated professionals.
