From seasonal promotional literature, outdoor billboards, bus and trade press advertisements to visitor guides, door drops and inserts, ICG is supporting the delivery of a consistent and recognisable brand across several outlet villages.

Client BriefRealm wanted an agency that could help them attract more visitors to their outlet villages. The company also needed a creative team that could deliver a large volume of marketing collateral that retained core elements of the generic branding yet reflected a specific outlet’s ‘personality’, its location and its target audience demographics.
Creative SolutionsStraight away our creative team got digging to understand Realm’s business and their competitors. They also got out and about visiting several outlets to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of their current positioning. Combined with a regular dialogue with our client this robust initial research helped our creative thinking and the delivery of fresh but on brand concepts which have the flexibility to be tailored for each outlet.

Email Newsletters: keeping customers informedRegular e-newsletters to a targeted database are instant and effective. ICG can oversee the whole, or part of, the project including branding, layout, copywriting, imagery and output. We produce e-newsletters for clients including Servisair Lounges integrating them into marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
Website: Bleep UKA user-friendly content management system (CMS) was an essential part of Bleep’s requirements when it decided to create a new website. ICG built a bespoke CMS to enable regular updates combined with a dynamic new website design to show Bleep’s high level of expertise and professionalism.
Website: Central TrainingCommunicating complex information across multiple-service platforms was a key component of the new website for Central Training. Detailed analysis of the client’s requirements at the ‘site structure’ stage as well as clever use of branding to segregate information allowed us to create an online presence that was easy to understand and navigate.
From iphone apps to email marketing, moving brands to e-magazines, our digital team is leading the way in integrating digital strategies into our clients’ marketing plans.
Digital Presentation: Freightlink ICG was tasked with creating an online audio visual presentation to brief customers about a new service called Freightlink Reload. Downloadable from the website and YouTube, the presentation has become a useful marketing tool to help customers fully understand the benefits of the new service and Freightlink’s commitment to innovation.
Digital Publications: BAE Systems, Enterprise & Biwater ICG has the technical expertise to produce digital, interactive publications with a wide range of functionalities. Working with several blue-chip clients, ICG has delivered digital formats that have been embedded with movies and sound, contain ‘page-turner’ features and can be uploaded as pdf’s onto an intranet site. ResultsFour years working with Blackpool Zoo tells its own story. In the last 12 months the zoo has been delighted by record visitor numbers and revenue. Client BriefICG’s original brief was to position the zoo as a ‘must see’ destination. We also needed to ensure that the zoo had a media presence during off-peak periods to optimise visitor numbers. Open 364 days a year and located outside of Blackpool’s main tourist area the zoo has to attract ongoing healthy footfall and compete for visitor spend.
Creative SolutionsTo meet the brief, our PR team annually brainstorms new ideas and develops a 12-month plan of activity to ensure that there are fresh stories to issue every month. ICG also ‘seize the moment’ by linking storylines to topical issues and events. We got the sea lions playing football with TV presenters when Blackpool FC joined the Premiership, and during the general election the team issued photos of the sea lions with red, blue and yellow balls on their noses.

Media relations: The Mall Blackburn Our cuttings books for The Mall Blackburn are filling up fast. A regular fashion column in a key target newspaper, news stories from awards and investment to store openings, as well as interviews on radio to discuss topical industry matters keeps The Mall Blackburn in front of shoppers.
Sponsorship publicity for law firm Customers can be close to home. We help companies increase their profile by identifying and promoting community sponsorship projects. Our client Scott Rees & Co have benefitted from positive publicity by supporting young athletes as well as community policing and road safety initiatives.
Print to radio coverage for St. Deiniol’s Library Articles secured by ICG in The Guardian, Heritage Magazine, Journal of Liberal History, as well as interviews on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, helped this unique residential library, founded by Prime Minister William Gladstone, to attract new supporters and users.

ICG’s creative marketing and PR driven promotional campaigns for Yorkshire have had a direct and measurable positive impact on the industry’s awareness of the brand – testimony to their success ICG has now completed a seventh bespoke campaign.

Client BriefYorkshire Copper Tube wanted to boost brand recognition and customer loyalty as it was facing competition not only from other copper manufacturers but also the producers of cheaper plastic alternatives. ICG needed to develop a strategy that engaged with the company’s core market of plumbers, specifiers and contractors.
Creative SolutionsICG’s design, marketing and PR specialists knew that to engage directly with plumbers and specifiers any campaign had to be both fun and practical. Our ‘Scratch and Win’ and ‘Text-to Win’ competitions hit the nail on the head. They were quick to enter and offered a chance to win prizes that plumbers might actually want: cash, tools, fleeces, cheeky T-shirts and even a fully kitted out van! The fully integrated campaigns were promoted in-store at hundreds of plumbers merchants to ensure maximum return.

Client BriefWhen Blackpool Airport transferred from public to private ownership, the airport’s management wanted to raise the profile of the airport with potential passengers and develop and strengthen the brand. They wanted to create a niche for the airport in an already strong North West air travel market and needed an agency with fresh and innovative ideas.
Creative SolutionsOur team thoroughly researched the positioning of other airports to determine how we could differentiate Blackpool. We developed new key messages such as ‘More holiday, less hassle’ to highlight the airport’s selling points, whilst a vibrant and colourful brand reflected the airport’s stress-free and friendly image. Strategic solutions for LFELeague Football Education’s goal is to engage apprentices in education when the youngsters are fixed on football glory. ICG’s brand strategy and creative solutions included emotive imagery and photography and quirky illustrations whilst breaking information down into ‘bite sized’ chunks to deliver pace and attract attention.
