The Facility will generate increased funding and technical assistance for global, regional and country level activities designed to accelerate and scale-up the efforts of low and middle-income countries to build their scientific, technological and managerial capacities to prepare and implement cost-effective road safety programs.

The Facility has built an integrated platform capable of managing the scaled-up response required in the context of growing global concern and commitment.

Focus will continue to be on building country safety management capacity and strengthening strategic global and regional initiatives designed to support this (e.g. iRAP, RoadPol, HIGH).
