“I will put my words in thy mouth, and I will cover thee under the shadow of my hand.”- Isaiah 51:16

“I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from mine enemies” – (Psalm 18:3)

My defense is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee (Psalm 7:10, 20:1)

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. (Psalm 91:5)

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. (Psalm 91:14-15).

For I have heard the slander of many; fear was on every side; while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. But I trusted in thee, O Lord; I said, Thou are my God (Psalm 31:13-14).

My times are in thy hand; deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me for thy mercies’ sake. Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.” (Psalm 31:15-16, 18).

No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about (Psalm 32:10).
