The floor cleaning sub-category is growing due to the steadyreplacement of carpet with hard flooring. This has led to an associatedincrease in demand for floor cleaning products.

While hard flooring is gaining share, more consumers are using devices rather thanconsumer packaged goods to clean their floors. Steam cleaners and roboticvacuums are disruptive to brands like Swiffer. As robot become better andcheaper, there are indications that they will gain penetration.
