GENESIS

Why IPD ?

The Vision

What is it all about ?

Conceptual Framework

Operational Framework

Implementation Plan

What will it give to the Nation?

The Vision Ahead

The Last Words

After having closely seen the harsh realities of Rural India , we used to think.. How can we bring change….

“Where the mind is without fear.. Where the head is high” ………………. Idea?

“PURA concept came” ……………….Reach?

Opportunity to work for Integrated District Planning ………..States’ Focus?

Stray Cattle Rehabilitation in PRAYER ….. Gravity water for irrigation.. Utopian Dream

Had Introspection,,,,,,,,,,, deep Thoughts ,,,,,,,,which evolved IPD,,, the revolutionary idea to Redefine the Development. Got 35 AC Approval….. .Usefulness ? ……………….Now destined to create out of Nothing,,, we are accustomed to.

Genesis 6

I I R D

Since Independence we have been struggling to accelerate development in the country ….. 5 Year Plans ….Experimented different approaches…. Schematic Thrust.

Yet to determine the basic developmental yardsticks for citizens.

The schematic thrust did not result into the overall well being of people.

No effective involvement of people in local governance ….. 80% Gram Sabhas take place without quorums … despite efforts of decades

The Integrated Development is the answer…. With enhanced people participation through effective governance system.

Why IPD? 7

I I R D

Why SHOLI?

8

I I R D

The basic thoughts started from the miserable situation of Gram Panchayat Sholi….

Abundant possibilities of judicious utilisation of resources.

Most challenging being my native panchayat…if succeeded here,,,, can succeed anywhere,,,,,,

Easy for demonstration as social structure is well understood.

Feasible for piloting various innovative concepts.

The local political people may find the threat from the popularity of the implementers on successful demonstration of IPD. The local administration may like to hinder in the process by quoting various rules & procedures of public domain. There might be restrictions from agencies on innovations hindering interests. The IPD interventions, if not declared as pilot for testing all innovations by GOI, may become redundant. The resources if not made available in time may hinder the progress The over interference of the govt machinery on the govt grants may also make the decision making process slow.

The Destination 36

GIVING to IPD will be considered the way to improve next life......

The self sufficiency will make people realise “Where the mind is without fear, where the head is held high”
