We are running a FREE Be Connected Workshop Thursday 18th April 2019 10am at the Hyden CRC to help older
Australians with Digital Literacy.
The Next Session will be Using A Computer. This session will
provide a simple guide to basic controls and use of laptop or desktop
computers. It includes turning on and off a computer, safe usage and how to
open, save files and folders.

The Hyden CRC is looking for an individual to work at our front desk one day per week. The successful applicant would need to have the following:
Have excellent skills and knowledge of Microso Office products including Publisher
Have a friendly disposi on in taking calls and face to face with customers
Be comfortable in a team environment
Be willing to learn all the aspects of the CRC
Be willing to work in a flexible environment.
There may be a possibility of more relief work at mes.

Partners in Grain WA are running a NEW Farm Finance for Performance: Business Structure & Cashflow Workshop
This new interactive workshop designed to give members of the farm business a solid understanding of the fundamentals of farm financial management.
The workshop moves away from the traditional financial seminar approach with participants being actively engaged through scenario based activities and discussion.
Topics covered:
Business structure options and their strengths and weaknesses
Structural implications for Asset Ownership vs Trading Entity
Taxation, legal, reporting and compliance requirements of structures
Understanding and applying Cashflow vs Adjusted Cashflow vs Profit
Cashflow management principles- budget scenario planning
Applying key business and production ratios and benchmarks
Cashflow management reporting
Living budgets for sound decision making
The cost per participant is at a subsidised rate of $325 +GST/participant
($175 +GST for additional members from the same business).
