The cementless ANA.NOVA ® Hybrid Cup follows the principle of modern press-fit cups. The excess of the ANA.NOVA ® Hybrid Cup with pole flatte- ning increases continuously, thus resulting in an evenly distributed application of force as well as a large bone contact area in the subchondral, load-transferring bone zone. With its tried and tested rough titanium plasma double coating and functional elements, the fins, it achieves an excellent degree of primary and secondary stabi- lity. If the bone is soft or the pre-tension is insuffi- cient, the unique stabilising elements of the cup wings demonstrate their strength and lend the cup stability as well as an anti-migration and anti-tilt effect. Thus the ANA.NOVA ® Hybrid Cup is suitable not only in primary cases but also for revisions, and it achieves stability in extensive segmental defects even without additional screw fixation. The high level of acceptance and widespread use confirm this concept. HYBRID CUP A Press-fit Cup for Every Case

•On the market since 2004•Pure titanium, grade 2 in accordance with ISO 5832-2•Optimised press-fit effect with pole flattening. The special design allows for

an evenly distributed application of force and a large bone contact surface due to a continuous increase in the excess.

•A unique stabilising wing system expands the range of indications, enhances the anti-tilt effect and increases the rotation and migration resistance

•Macrostructured cup surface with titanium plasma coating•Microcrystalline bioactive calcium phosphate coating BONIT®

•One cup design for PE and ceramic inlays•Ball head diameter of 36mm already possible from cup size of 50mm• Integrated pole flattening with fixation screw for insertion depth control

The inlay range for the ANA.NOVA® Hybrid Cup is identical to the range for the ANA.NOVA® Alpha Cup® and comprises the materials polyethylene, highly cross-linked polyethylene with vitamin E (Miradur®) and ceramic inlays of Biolox® delta with diameters of 28, 32, 36 and 40mm.

The ANA.NOVA® Hybrid Cup instruments are part of the tried and tested ANA.NOVA® modular system. The high-quality instruments can be used both for ANA.NOVA® Hybrid Cups and for ANA.NOVA® Alpha Cups®.
