AMENITIES Guest Service Deliveries/Room Deliveries (Room Drops): Delivery charges for non-perishable items and items provided by organizations are subject to a delivery fee. It is important that Guest Services is given a minimum of seven days notice for deliveries. Currently these rates are:

$5.00 per room for small gifts (candy, gift bag, etc that is not personalized)

Food and Beverage Amenities: The Hyatt Regency’s world class culinary staff would be delighted to prepare attractive and delicious amenities for your VIP’s and/or your entire group. Please enquire with your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager regarding the wide range of amenities available. Delivery and Service Charges for food and beverage amenities are added to the price of the food and beverage amenity. Special Amenity Notes: Special requests or large orders require advance notice. Please advise your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager regarding questions or specific amenities. Once produced, these orders cannot be cancelled and will be charged accordingly. Amenities with alcoholic beverages can only be sent to persons twenty one (21) years of age or older. The Hotel will be prepared to serve three (3) percent more than the guaranteed number of attendees and cannot be responsible for service to more than three (3) percent over the guarantee for groups of up to 1,000 persons. AUTOMOBILE ACCESSIBILITY Automobiles may be brought into the Exhibit Hall, Nicollet Grand Ballroom and Nicollet Promenade areas for fundraising, product promotion and other events of this nature, additional fees may apply. Safety Requirements:

The Battery must be disconnected before entering the building.

The vehicle cannot be driven in; it must be pushed and cannot be started anywhere inside the building.

Gas tank must be no more than one-fourth (1/4) full.

Thick plastic must be put over the floor where vehicle will be parked.

-B- BABYSITTING SERVICES The Concierge department will be happy to refer local companies that can provide baby-sitting services for your guests. They provide referrals of several licensed and bonded services.

BANNERS/SIGNS All signs must be professionally printed. Hand written signs and signs placed inside elevators or on guest room floors are not permitted and will be removed. In the event extra signs, easels or bulletin boards are required, please contact your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager. Your Event Concierge will also provide 8½” x 11” signs outside of the meeting rooms with your group posting name, function, and room name. For large or professional signage the hotel facility includes a FedEx office that can assist with designing and printing of professional signage for your event. FedEx is located on the second (2

nd) floor of the hotel and is open Monday

– Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. To arrange signage please call 612-339-5641. Pins, tacks, tape or any material that may cause damage are NOT permitted on hotel walls or doors. All signs must be displayed on easels or in sign holders. The charge to hang banners is at the discretion of PSAV, our in house Audio Visual Provider. Use of prohibited materials resulting in damage will result in a fee at the discretion of hotel management. Hyatt Regency Minneapolis has several Digital Reader Boards for daily postings of meeting room and registration information spread throughout the public areas of the hotel. Static Cling designed signage is strong encouraged. Please contact your Event Planning Manager, Event Sales Manager, or Event Concierge to provide the correct posting of your event. BANQUETS All food and beverage arrangements must be made through the hotel. License restrictions require that only Hyatt purchased food and beverage can be served on Hyatt property. Banquet menus, room arrangements, and other details pertinent to your function must be submitted to the Event Sales and Event Planning department thirty (30) days prior to your event or convention. Your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager will be happy to custom design menu proposals especially for your group and assist in selecting the proper menu items and program arrangements to ensure a successful event. Special meal requests are easily accommodated. Please let your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager know in advance if there are any vegetarian, vegan, kosher, low-sodium, nut allergy, gluten free, etc. meals. The hotel reserves the right to close any event serving alcohol and all bars for any infraction of applicable liquor laws, including but not limited to consumption by minors. BILLING AND CREDIT In order to expedite the billing and payment process, Hyatt Regency Minneapolis requires proper credit information be established prior to your event or conference. This can include: credit card payment, check, or, if approved, direct billing status. In order to establish a master account, your organization will complete an “Application for Credit” form online through a secure link. This form must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to the event. In addition to the application, credit references from hotels that have been used within the last twelve (12) months are requested. These references must equal or exceed the amount of credit being asked for and a deposit will be required. Based on approval of credit, a master account number will be assigned based on your organization requested charges. Final payment of the master account bill is due within thirty (30) days of receipt of the final bill. A master account may only be established for estimated totals over $10,000.00. For estimated totals under $10,000.00, your organization must provide a credit card or prepay the anticipated amount of the bill ten (10) business days prior to the event.

BOXED LUNCHES Hyatt Regency Minneapolis will be happy to coordinate boxed lunches, snacks to go, and special meals for your group to take with them on special events. Contact your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager for details. Other to-go options are available at the MPLS Market, our gift shop, located on the Entry Level of the hotel. BUSES There are a number of ways to experience Minneapolis. One way is to charter a bus. Metro Connections is the most complete destination management company operating in the Twin Cities. Their staff can coordinate any type of tour or group transportation you may need. Their phone number is (800) 747-8687. BUSINESS CENTER FedEx Office is located on the second (2

nd) level of the hotel (skyway level) and serves as a business center to our

guests. Guests may access the FedEx Office twenty four (24) hours a day using their room key for limited service. Full Service access is available during regular business hours, Monday through Friday between 8:00am & 5:00pm. Services include:

Full Breakfast for one (1): Just sign the breakfast check to your room. Our staff will take care of the rest. You have an allowance of $22.52 per day. Bottled Water: Included in your key packet is a coupon for one (1) complimentary bottle of water per day. Please visit the MPLS Market near the lobby to redeem. Shirt or Blouse Pressing: Please utilize the laundry valet ticket in your room. Items picked up by 8:45 am will be delivered by 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Feel free to include other items with your valet service. The additional items will be charged to your account.

A full payment is required in advance for room and tax charges, plus a refundable deposit of $50.00 per day for incidental charges that may be incurred (i.e. phone calls, in-room movies, internet, etc). Upon check out these charges can be settled in cash and the card on file will be refunded (allow five [5]-seven [7] business days for transaction to post on account). If the room requires a hard key provided by Engineering (limited to select meeting room), it is subject to a $250.00/per key fee if it is not returned to the Event Sales or Event Planning Manager or Event Concierge. Seventy Percent (70%) of the event space is currently utilizing a hard key system with Thirty Percent (30%) utilizing RFID or Ving Card Keys. Loss of RFID/VING meeting room keys are $10.00/each if not returned at conclusion of group program. If you are requesting a hard lock change there will be a $150.00 per lock fee and we will require your signature on a waiver form. This must be arranged at least three (3) weeks in advance. LOGO / GOBO Neither the Group nor Hyatt Regency Minneapolis will use the name, trademark, logo, or other proprietary designation for the other party in any advertising or promotional materials without the prior written approval of such party. The Group’s requests for any Hyatt Regency Minneapolis advertising materials should be directed to your Event Sales or Event Planning Manager. Groups also have the option of having their GOBO in the hotel lobby or other various locations within the hotel. Use of Group GOBO is based on the following guidelines:

TAX EXEMPT STATUS In the State of Minnesota, a group may only be considered Tax Exempt when the purpose of the function is to fundraise. To signify your group as tax exempt, you will need to provide a tax-exempt status form from the State of Minnesota. This includes both ST3 and ST16. -V- VALET Valet parking is available, for in-house guests. Valet hours are between 6:00am – 11:30pm. The cost is $38.00 per day. Our Guest Services at extension 53 would be happy to assist you. If you would like to provide hosted Valet Parking for a group or convention, please contact your manager directly for more information. VOICEMAIL All hotel room telephones have voicemail capability. You can check it simply by dialing 4848 from your room. If you have any questions, please call the hotel operator.

-W- WEIGHT LOADS Equipment, room set, audio visual, and guest attendance combined may not exceed one hundred (100) pounds per square foot on Conference levels two (2), four (4) and five (5). Weight Loads on Conference Level one (1) is on foundation level and is available for an increase per pound.
