pratique, l’expérience apprendrait bientôt à chacun qu’il n’y a qu’en appliquant les médicaments d’après la méthode curative similia similibus, qu’on obtient un résultat durable, en très peu de temps et àl’aide des plus faibles doses, tandis que la méthode palliative, suivie par tous les médecins sans exception, ne peut soulager que pendant quelques heures, après quoi le mal resurgit plus fort qu’auparavant… D’un autre côté, par ces hautes doses d’un médicament qui n’est point curatif et homéopathique, il provoque, comme effets consécutifs, de nouveaux états morbides, qui sont fréquemment plus difficiles à guérir que la maladie primitive, et qui assez souvent aussi se terminent enfin par la mort. »
