to be used, not just read. Users can create their own posts, add
events to our calendar or start their own dis-cussion topics in our
forums. Its a true community collaboration!The founderMicheal
Foley, Hudsonite publisher and editor, has lived in Hudson since
November 2010, when he served as founding editor of Hudson Patch,
an Aol property.Foley grew up in nearby New Richmond, graduated
high school in Cum-berland and got his start in journalism as a
combat correspondent with the U.S. Marine Corps in San Diego and

Foley returnedto western Wisconsin to earn his bache-lors degree in
journalism from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.He has
since been employed at newspapers in New Richmond; Eau Claire,Palm
Springs, Calif.; and St. Paul, Minn. He also worked at a
com-munications agency in Seattle where he completed projects for
clients such as Microsoft, T-Mobile and Amazon.By day, Foley is
currently a research information ofcer for the Minne-sota
Department of Transportation. On nights and weekends, he creates
and curates content, edits submissions, moderates comments, sells
advertising and does all the behind-the-scenes work to make
