Financial resources are a blessing, a result of God’s provision and a tool to be used to worship God. Followers of Christ acknowledge that material possessions belong to God and the return of money to the local church is an investment in the Kingdom.

What should I know about Kingdom investing? It is a privilege to participate in the work of the local church by contributing cheerfully, sacrificially and generously (emphasis on 2 Corinthians 8 and 9). Through prayer, seek a clear conscience in regard to investing in the work God has given CCC to accomplish. If you are visiting or you are not yet a follower of Christ, make today’s priority to focus on

the larger issue: the relationship God offers through Jesus. Contact Tim Perry if you have questions about your faith journey / [email protected].

How do I participate?Place checks or cash:

• in the offering baskets during the morning worship services at the Old Mill Campus and Sarpy Campus.• in the Joy Boxes at the Sarpy Campus• in the secure giving box on the wall near the office entrance at the Old Mill Campus.

An offering envelope is required to obtain a receipt for cash offerings. Contribution envelopes can be obtained at the Old Mill

Campus from the Office Services Window, in the racks behind the seating in the Worship Center and at the tables in the back of Access. At the Sarpy Campus, they are located at the Information Table. Contact Doni Gregory at [email protected] to receive preprinted envelopes. eTithing registration is also available at cccomaha.org. Update on Graham and Carrie Frank“On Sunday September 19, I (Graham) climbed into the front seat of the vehicle to begin the journey home after two project trips and three long weeks in India. We traveled for five hours through the early morning jungle air on a crumbling one lane road to reach the train station. We boarded the train and continued on for 36 hours across the Indian plain (this trip was extended by four hours because the train hit a buffalo or there was a mechanical issue that needed attention. I’m still not sure which it was, as both stories were told with great enthusiasm). We arrived in Delhi and I jumped in to a taxi to head straight to the International airport (15 hours direct from Delhi to Chicago). Made it through the three hour layover in Chicago and arrived back in Omaha. All in all it was two days and 15 hours to get home from eastern India. Now I am taking some time to get reacquainted with Everett (these young ones change a lot in three weeks) and getting used to the idea of working without a formal office. This project trip marks the beginning of my full time work with Engineering Ministries International (eMi), and our family will spend the next few months working from Omaha and preparing for our transition to life overseas.”

Please pray:1. We have decided to rent our home rather than sell it at this time. Please pray for

renters who will benefit from being in our home.

2. Priya will have an intense three months of speech and language therapy. Please pray that she makes great strides leading up to her one-year evaluation in December. Praise God – she now has 70 words.
