exist for the zakat that makes a system: A ) People who pay zakat B ) The government to collect zakat C ) The distribution of zakat must given to

2 type of zakatTYPE OF ZAKAT“Zakat fitrah”-compulsory for each individuals muslim.“ Zakat harta” - paid at any time. Rate zakat is 2.5% of total assets. *“Zakat perniagaan” - distribute by i) Private Business (single) ii) Partnership iii) Company Limited iv) limited company v) cooperative association

- “Zakat saham” - compulsory to islamic

shareholders

-“ Zakat pendapatan” - revenues that

earned by individuals.

-Zakat wang simpanan”- zakat savings

-“Zakat ternakan”- when reaches the amount that set by islam .

-“Zakat emas dan perak”- from mineral

resources that is required to paid.

-“Zakat pertanian”- is imposed on basic food

that fills up a town .

8 CATEGORY OF PEOPLE THAT CAN RECEIVED ZAKAT

1.The poor- People whose income is less than fifty percent of its daily needs

2.The needy- People whose income is above fifty percent of its daily needs but not to one

hundred percent

3.Administrator of zakat- People who appointed by the king to run a charity on condition that he

is Islamic, independent, mukalaf, man, a fair, can hear and see.

4.Mualaf- The person that converts to Islam and a weak faith

5.For those in bondage- A slave who is promised independence to the terms to

make payments to the master

6.For those in debt

7.Fi Sabilillah- Those who fight in Allah's way.

8.Traveler- The traveler either men or women who want to travel out of the country he stopped in the land of zakat go back to his state or continues his traveler

build up their own business-Then for sustainability their business need to monitoring them from time to time.-For example, government give loan via Tabung Ekonomi Kumpulan Usaha Niaga (TEKUN)

-Given to student that want to continues study but their family not afford

-to make sure they not left behind their studyfor example, give them scholarships, registration fees

-Because through educational they can improve their family life and not depend on zakat

- This capital were given to the poor and needy that want to change their life and want generate their own income.

-Firstly they were given capital injection to carry out business such as agriculture, open a small stall to sell food and fishery.

-Zakat officer will collaborate with corporate company to help them how produce product that can be marketable.

conclusion Contribution of zakat is the one way to

reduce the poor and needy. There are 8 parties that eligible to receive

zakat from any zakat distributor. There are several types of zakat such as
