What is Paint Care?PaintCare is a non-profit

organization, established by the American Coatings

Association, to manage a statewide paint recycling

program.

Who Can Use the Program?Residents can bring from their homes all of the listed Acceptable Products up to the limit noted at each drop-off site.Businesses (painting contractors and others) can use this program with one restriction: If your business produces more than 220 pounds (about 20-30 gallons) of hazardous waste per month, you may use the drop-off sites for your latex paint only but not for your oil-based paint.

How to RecyclePaint containers must be 5-gallon in size or smaller with the manufacturer’s label. Drop-off sites will not accept containers leaking or empty.

PaintCare will make sure the products are recycled or properly disposed of at a processing facility.

Large Volume Pick-up ProgramPaintCare has implemented a program to provide direct service to those with over 300 gallons of leftover paint. Those with over 300 gallons can request a large volume pick-up by contacting PaintCare.
