Finding your way around

How to get to your connecting flight at Frankfurt Airport– quickly and comfortably

Yes. Please double-check the

gate indicated on it. Current

information on your flight is

available on the monitor screens.

If no gate has been assigned yet,

head for the indicated pier (A, B,

C, etc.).

No. Within the transit zone, please

go to a transfer desk of the airline

operating your flight or straight to

the departure gate, or else ask at

an information counter. In the

pre-security part of the airport, you

can obtain your boarding pass at

your airline's check-in counter.

In most cases, on your way be-

tween planes you'll have to pass

through security and passport

checks. Please allow enough time

for them. If you are in a hurry to

catch your connecting flight, you

can save time by using one of the

“Fast Lanes” at the security check.

Monitors at the checkpoints list

sengers may use a “Fast Lane”.

Should I allow for extra time for passport and security checks?

forwarded to your final destina-

tion. If not, you must pick it up at

the baggage claim and then

recheck it. If you are continuing

on by Deutsche Bahn train to

Cologne (QKL), Düsseldorf (QDU),

Karlsruhe Hbf. (KWQ), Kassel (KJR),

Stuttgart (ZWS), or Siegburg/

Bonn (ZPY) with a Lufthansa flight

number, you will receive your

bags at the AiRail baggage claim

at the long-distance train station.

walkways throughout the airport.
