How and why do rates of population change vary over time?
Populations change as result of variations in the BR and DR, plus/minus migration. The DEMOGRAPHIC TRANSITION MODEL describes how BR and DR change over time. It was developed from a study in England & Wales and Sweden. It has since been applied universally.
