All pets living on post must be registered within three days after ar- rival. If your pets were vaccinated elsewhere, bring the certificate of rabies vaccination to the clinic for registration and updating of your records. Owners are responsible for keeping pet records current. Microchipping Fort Lee Installation policy mandates that housing residents have all dogs and cats microchipped (pet identification system) within three working days of acquisition of quarters. Appointments can be made for microchipping by calling the Fort Lee Veterinary Treatment Facility. Permanent Change of Station Please let us know AS SOON as you receive PCS orders to ensure that your pets will be ready to travel with you and your family. Preparation time for some overseas assign- ments can be extensive! A valid United States Uniformed Services Identification Card must be presented at the time of check in for all services and sales pro-vided by the medical treatment facility.

PrescriptionsIn accordance with federal law, a valid veter-inarian-client-patient relationship must exist with a VTF veterinarian before any prescrip-tions can be filled. In accordance with federal law, we cannot fill prescriptions from veterinar-ians off post. Prescription refill requests must be made 48hrs in advance.

Please know that it is our goal to provide your pet with the absolute best in preventative care.

Surgery and Dental EstimatesAll surgeries and dentals require a pre-op exam that is conducted 2 days prior to sched-uled surgery. Labwork will be performed at this visit to reduce surgical complications.
