Yorktown Physical Therapy has been serving Yorktown and the surrounding communities for the past 25 years. In June of 2016, it was purchased by Greg Besson and Steve Melchionno and has undergone many significant upgrades. The clinic has been remodeled and they are now offering many subspecialties in Orthopedics, including Active Release Techniques, Graston Techniques and Selective Functional Movement Assessments. Greg and Steve have owned and operated Physical Therapy clinics in the past and have a combined 30 years of experience in Orthopedics. After having injuries as young adults, they both vowed to get into a field where they could give back to others. After successful completion of graduate school the two-started working together and have never looked back. They are both extremely grateful for the opportunity to bring their expertise to the area.As movement specialists, Yorktown Physical Therapy strives to provide the community with the most integrated and trusted medically proven techniques. They foster an atmosphere which is nurturing and motivating, while treating every patient as if they were a family member. The driving force for continual advancement in the field is placed on education. The entire staff is constantly pushed to work towards advanced degrees and subspecialties in orthopedics. With that said, the goal at Yorktown Physical Therapy is to put the ‘PATIENT FIRST’!!!! We truly feel that each and every patient that walks through our doors will be extremely satisfied and relieved of pain. For more information, check us out at YorktownPT.com!
Centrale Italian Kitchen & Bar (90 Triangle Center, Yorktown Heights, 914.352.6107, www.centrale.us) is the perfect place to meet friends and family for a relaxing lunch, dinner, cocktails at the bar, or an evening of entertainment. The restaurant’s menu features favorite dishes from different regions of Italy, elevated with the restaurant’s own personal touch. In addition to the Antipasto Bar - which some describe as "tapas with an Italian kick" - and their signature Short Rib Marsala, Homemade Burrata and Chicken Cacciatore Ravioli, Centrale offers a variety of thin-crust pizzas and house made pastas. Poultry and seafood dishes are also available, and desserts are made in-house daily by the restaurant's Pastry Chef. The wine list offers 45 choices and specialty cocktails, such as the Centrale Spritz and the Italian Margarita, along with classic cocktails from a fully stocked bar. The restaurant’s white-washed, window-paned walls and soft grey-green interior with pops of unexpected color and kitschy wall art create a relaxed atmosphere, one where guests can enjoy good value, a wide variety of Italian-American food and warm hospitality. Centrale is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. Two-for-one Happy Hour is from 4-7 p.m. every day the restaurant is open, with live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Private event space and catering are available. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. For additional information: Karen Carzo, Three Ring Public Relations: 917.434.7034

As we move into the Spring season, there are new and exciting things happening in your Chamber.Judging from the comments of the vendors who participated and many who attended the 2017 Yorktown Chamber of Commerce Home, Lifestyles & Family Show held at the newly improved JV Mall it was a resounding success We had the largest vendor and foot traffic turnout ever. Our health & fitness segment, the local restaurants and an all-day open-mic entertainment contributed to it. Thanks again to our major sponsor Jilco and the Jefferson Valley Mall and all who contributed to make this event amazing. This year at the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce’s “Yorktown Best of… Awards & Cocktail Reception” on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Travelers Rest, Route 100, Ossining, NY 10562, we will honor Irene Amato of A.S.A.P. Mortgage Corp. as the Business- Person-of the Year, Yorktown Autobody, Inc. as the Business-of-the-Year and the Yorktown Police Benevolent Association as the Organization-of-the-Year. To update this event, we changed the format this year. Don’t forget to support us by attending and taking an ad in our Journal, promoting your business, your friends and our honorees.Congratulations and welcome to all our new members. Our aggressive approach in getting new members, judging by the turnouts at our breakfast networking meetings (held at Yorktown Coach Diner), evening networking meetings and our special membership “Bring-A-Friend” luncheons is definitely working. Try to attend our next Breakfast Networking Meeting on March 7 and our April 24 Networking Meeting at the Cortlandt School of Performing Arts. This month we are kicking off our 2017 scholarship drive. As you know the
Chamber gives scholarships each year to deserving local high school graduates. Most of the funds come from donations from our members. Each contributor will receive a certificate acknowledging support of this important youth oriented initiative, will be listed in local media and the Chamber newsletter and will be guest at our Scholarship Awards Dinner in July. So please look for this important mailing. This program is one way the Chamber shows its commitment to our youth and to our community.Again, I want to thank the entire Board of Directors for stepping up and making the contributions necessary to make this Chamber work. Every board member has taken an active role in the various committees needed for this organization to be successful. My door is always open to members. Please let me hear from you with any concerns or suggestions.Eric DiBartolo PresidentP.S. Did you see the new Chamber-sponsored LED Community Message Board in the center of Town? It will serve as an outlet for the Chamber to highlight local businesses and broadcast announcements. Call the office to see how it can work for you.

THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE needs your support!!As most of you know the Chamber gives scholarships each year to deserving local high school graduates. Most of the funds come from donations from our members. We are gearing up for the 2017 fundraising effort and we need your support. Last year we gave out 6 scholarships with an aggregate amount of $10,000.00, and we want to do at least as well this year. We have one member – Burger King – who has agreed for the second year to run a fundraising event where a percent of their revenue for a day in May will go to the scholarship fund. We urge our other members to consider doing similar events. If this is not workable for your business, then please consider making a donation. This program is one way the Chamber shows its commitment to our youth and to the community at large. All those who donate at least $50.00 will be invited to the scholarship awards dinner at Little Sorrento’s restaurant in July. Please call the Chamber office if you want to schedule a fundraiser: 914-245-4599

Dear Yorktown Chamber of Commerce,I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for attending the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration for our newest Croton on Hudson office. I know it was a challenge to attend with the numerous schedule changes due to Thursday's snowfall. I was overwhelmed with gratitude as I gazed around witnessing the amazing turnout. The thought that all of these people who took precious time out of their day to make my day extra special is priceless. The Community, State and County recognition and continued support for small businesses is our driving force. Thank you!Sincerely,Irene Amato NMLS #4214President 914-736-9230 Office
Praise from Our Members…
Dear Yorktown Chamber of Commerce:
I hope you're well this fine day!
I just wanted to let you know that "put some meat on your
bones" food truck is now located at Jefferson Valley Mall
for February and March, while they undergo food court
renovations!
This was fully made possible by the connection I made
through the Chamber. Councilman Ed Lachterman has
been incredibly helpful and introduced and recommended
me to JVM's Alexa O'Roark last June for the community
day festival at the mall. Dave Napolitan, the manager
remembered us and invited us to be here during this
renovation.
Huge thanks to our Chamber!!
Thank you for all you do!
