don't even need to swipe the badge through the

reader ins ta l led a t the access po in t the card

transmitter is activated when the user approaches

the reader and the card is read from a distance.

Guests who are not staying in the hotel but are

j u s t v i s i t i n g ( f o r e x a m p l e , p a r t i c i p a n t s a t a

conference), can be issued cards on arrival or in

advance. Cards can be pre-programmed to restrict

access to certain facilities only.

With each guest room incorporating a card

reader/holder, you can achieve a superb insight into

the status of every room in your hotel. Once the

guest unlocks the door and places the card into the

holder, the main switch turns on electrical devices

and the room status on the reception desk screen

changes to 'occupied'. If the room is accessed by a

room maid or other authorized hotel staff, the status
