A Room Parent is the liaison between the school, teachers and the classroom parents. As the Room Parent, you are the “go-to” person for that teacher - BUT you need to enlist help from other parents... don’t try and do it all!

1st things you need to do…1.- Be a Broward School registered Volunteer.

2.- Register at PTA website

3.- Send out next week the Introductory Letter and 1st Collection.

• Each class has two (2) Homeroom Parents, ONLY ONE is going to be responsible for collecting all money and presenting an accountability spreadsheet.

• Money received for each event is ONLY to be used for those purposes.

• Teacher’s gift ONLY gift cards or cash

RULES TO FOLLOW

• You may not just walk into the class at any moment, you have to have an appointment to see your teacher.

• Mandatory meeting with your teacher prior a celebration.

• ALL foods must be store bought.

• Check any allergies in your class.
