Learning Outcome:Describe all the different job/roles in a garage workshopExplain/Draw or make your garageRecall the different types of fire extinguishers that would be in a garage workshop

Learning Task:

To draw or make a garage/ workshop from items found around the house

List all the different departments within your garage (Workshop, Sales, Parts department, Service Department, valeting area etc.)

Within the workshop area you will need to show where the following are located;

Fire exitsMain doorWhere PPE is locatedWhere tools are locatedThe position of the ramp or lift.Where the washing facilities areWhere the fire extinguishers are located (Remember the types of fire extinguishers)

To help you with your research, either go on-line or ask any adults you are at home with to see if they can help you.

Key questions: (Type or write your answer under the question)

1. Give your garage a name, what type of cars are you going to sell, service and repair?

2. What fire extinguishers did you choose for your workshop?

3. What are the main items of PPE you need in a workshop to protect yourself whilst working on a car?
