WORLD PRIEST DAY (or PRIESTHOOD SUNDAY) is cele-brated this weekend with an opportunity for parishioners to thank, affirm and share their love for our priests. WE LOVE OUR PRIESTS. Let us recognize Fr. John’s daily work of faith, labor

of love and caring, a full-time job 7 days a week being our “spiritual leader”. This celebration can be a week long obser-

vance of “little acts of kindness”. Send Father a card of thanks

this week, invite him to your home for lunch or dinner, or treat him - take him to a local restaurant or a local concert or commu-nity event. Get the children involved - draw him a religious pic-ture. Listen for God’s call for our children to be open to becom-

ing great Priests in the future. Our Priests are a significant part of our lives. Honor them today, this week and always. Pray for our Pastor Father John and other Priests assisting here at Holy Trin-ity; Msgr. Kantor, Fr. Moskal, and Fr. Art. God Bless You All! Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your blessing on our Priests. Unite us in service with whom you have called to the Sacrament of Holy Orders. Open our hearts to hear your call in service to our Church and fill our Priests with grace and good health to serve you faithfully. We ask this through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
