My dear Parishioners,
I want to thank each of you for your generosity to me not only over the Christmas period but also throughout the year. As the family of God in Memorial Park I hope that we will have our hearts and minds opened ever further to receive so much that God has in store for us, and that you will be filled with blessings during this year. I owe thanks to so many people who helped with Christmas cele-brations.
To the St. Theresa staff who helped with the arrangements for the Christmas Masses.
To David, our Director of Music and to all of the choir mem-bers, a great big thank you for helping us all sing God’s praises in response to the revelation of His love in Jesus.
To our deacons, I am so appreciative that we can serve to-gether in Word, Eucharist, and Love.
To all who cleaned and polished sacred vessels and candle-sticks, thank you for your time and your “elbow grease.”
To our lectors, it is a personal joy to hear God’s Word pro-claimed so faithfully and so well.
To our extraordinary ministers, it is an honor to stand beside you and share the gift of Jesus in the Eucharist.
To Margaret Tusa, thank you for repairing and restoring the Christmas vestments that date back several dec-ades. Through your efforts, hopefully they will be preserved for decades to come.
To all of you parishioners of St. Theresa, and to the many visitors who joined us, thank you for helping us to experi-ence God’s true love. Many blessings.
This week, as we celebrate John’s baptizing of Jesus, may we know that God is in total solidarity with all of His creation. As we explore the many possibilities for showing His love this new year, may we follow the example of Mrs. Louise Zwick and all who work at the Catholic Worker house, Casa Juan Diego. May we strive to work for those who all too easily but painfully became marginal-ized in our city, our country, and sadly on occasions by us as Church. With every blessing, Rev. Phil Lloyd

Quiero agradecer a cada uno de ustedes por su generosidad conmi-go, no solo durante el período navideño sino también durante todo el año. Como la familia de Dios en Memorial Park, espero que tengamos nuestros corazones y mentes abiertos para recibir tanto que Dios tiene para nosotros, y que se llene de bendiciones durante este año. Debo agradecer a tantas personas que ayudaron con las celebra-ciones de Navidad. Al personal de Santa Teresa que ayudó con los arreglos para las misas de Navidad. A David, nuestro Director de Música ya todos los miembros del coro, un gran agradecimiento por ayudarnos a todos a cantar las alaban-zas de Dios en respuesta a la revelación de Su amor en Jesús. Para nuestros diáconos, aprecio tanto que podamos servir juntos en la Palabra, la Eucaristía y el Amor. A todos los que limpiaron y pulieron vasijas sagradas y candelabros, gracias por su tiempo y su "codo". Para nuestros lectores, es una alegría personal escuchar la Palabra de Dios proclamada tan fielmente y tan bien.
