Welcome to Harlescott’s Summer term newsletter. It has been a jam-packed term with a different activity seemingly going on every week.
June: The pupils and staff took part our first ever sponsored walk, started Forest School, went to Enginuity, baked cakes for Harry Johnson, gave out an important award and even managed to fit in some work.
July: We ran sports day and invited guests to our Summer open day.
As part of studying ‘Forces’ in science, we went to
Enginuity. The children were able to try lots of different
experiments and activities and had loads of fun.
Enjoy the
holidays!
We held our first
sponsored walk. Both
morning and afternoon
children combined to walk
99.75 miles and we raised
over £650! This money
will be spent by the chil-
dren, for the children in
the coming year.
Our sports day was a great success.
The children showed great
determination and sportsmanship.
Both the morning and afternoon
outcomes were very close.

The KS1 pupils had the
opportunity to engage
in some outdoor
learning. They had lots
of fun exploring,
finding creepy
crawlies, and
completed some
beautiful, natural
artwork.
